#316 - Gushing!

Well I completed my class on Friday... it was the first time I taught this one. I even had to deal with a fire alarm that put us behind and I still managed to get through all the material! The best part was the reviews... someone said that out of 3 instructors at the college I was the best one! Wow what a way to end the week... I guess they didn't notice that it was the first time I have gone through this course. Needless to say I am really starting to love this job too! I also had some other great comments, but this one will stick with me for a while... that and the one that said I was dull! (To this day I still laugh about that one!)

Today was a nice day at home... the five of us in the same place at the same time. It was really nice.

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- wind... man it has been bad lately
- the lack of rain... it doesn't look much like fall, more like things are dying. We really need some raid.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- when I do a good job and people actually are able to learn something from me
- finally finding my 'happy place'. I should have left my old career years ago... money sure isn't everything that's for sure (although it is nice to buy stuff!:) )

KIDDO NOTES
I am so enjoying the 4th year... the boys are just wonderful to be around and they are learning so much. So far 2 four year olds has been about the easiest time to have twins. I am so dreading them heading off to school I love having them around.

Oh yes and Baby Golem was back for a visit tonight. We were getting the boys ready for bead then all of a sudden I noticed Baby 'circling' my hubby. She was on her feet and hands again going around and around saying "My Precious". The hubbs and I almost fell over we were laughing so hard! What a kid!

Good Night... better get some sleep I have to work tomorrow ....

#311- Oy!

Well it's been a while. I have been keeping out of trouble. I managed to make it through a painful course last week. Painful in that it was difficult to get through all the material. The funny thing was all the good comments that I received. I was really rushing to get through the last bit of the class. Sometimes I don't know where the time goes? It was also a small class so I am not really sure what happened. Oh well I managed to get through everything and no one seemed to irked by the speed at which we went through stuff at the end of day 2 (I think everyone is pretty much ready to leave by then anyway!)

I slept in on Friday - lucky me as the hubby was off. Well not so lucky me as hubby was in a 'mood' because he hasn't been getting any time to work on his shed. I have been so busy working that I haven't had a lot of time to take the kids off his hands when he is home. What's a part time working mom with way to many jobs to do? Put up with a miserable hubby I suppose! I get yelled at about an hour before work, then get yelled at because I was crying. What good is crying going to do he says... talk about support there. NO sorry, nothing, then I get home from work and he won't talk to me. Sheesh and I didn't even do anything except be so totally exhausted that I had to sleep in. Oh well he is back to work tomorrow and I am almost ready for my next course so maybe he can have his ME time and shut the frig up!

Oh yes and I just sent my handouts for my last course that I have to develop for this semester. Phew... Now I just have some final preparations and I can go teach on Thursday/Friday! Then work Friday night and Sunday at my other job... then pass out for a while! :)

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- grumpy men

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- sweet boy who brings me my 'blanket' when I am sad. Poor little fella

KIDDO NOTES
Well the boys have really been a treat for quite a while now. They are getting along so well and playing so well it's a amazing. I didn't expect this kind of peace in the house until they moved out. They are kids after all! :) Oh yes and we are officially pull-up free (well except bed time but that's a just in case deal) with the boys! They both are Potty Trained! (My sweet Boy1 gets my Iphone every evening then he proceeds to the bathroom to do his business... sometimes he sits there for 20 mins playing on the phone! I am thinking he will be the magazine reader in the Potty room as he gets older! :))

Ah yes and Baby... she is growing up way to fast for my liking. She still loves the word NO. We also like to ask her if she is Mom's girl... she will say NO, then we ask if she is Dad's girl... NO again. So then what does she say... baby's girl! Oh yes she is her own person that's for sure!

I am looking forward to getting through my four week course marathon (at least that's what it feels like) so that I can just spend time with the kiddos... no work involved! (At least until they go to bed that is)

Oh yes my growing boys. For the first time Boy1 and I built a train track, we got to work together, no more just mom doing it. What a treat! I really can't put into words how much I love these little folks that run around my house and make noise all day! It's good to be a MOM!

#310 - Still keeping out of trouble

I was busy working on another contract today! I needed a break from my course. Actually I may just take a break from it for a while. Well until the weekend anyway. Then I have to get going as I teach the new course the following week.

I got out for a while today too, I should have been working but instead I was spending money. (I could really use some new clothes but a netbook was in order for moi) I do love my gadgets... I shouldn't have spent the money but it was time for some retail therapy! LOL

KIDDO NOTES
I had a guest with me today, Boy1. No potty accidents which was exciting since we were gone for 2 1/2 hours and I forgot to ask him if he had to GO (bad mother) before we left. He was good as I dragged him around to three different computer stores, the bank, the dollar-rama and work (to install a printer cable). He was so tired out that he fell asleep in the truck on the way home! Poor Gaffer! :)

Off I go... good night

#255 - 2 more to go!

I am done yet another course and I only have 2 more to go! It has been around a year since I started teaching and I am really starting to enjoy it! :)

I am exhausted so off to bed I go!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- rush hour traffic, people in the city have no idea how to drive. They want to ban cell phone use, instead they should just ban Stupid Drivers that would solve a majority of the issues! :)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- coming home to hubby with kids after a tiring day at work instead of my mother! (ya she actually showed up 2 days in a row! Wow! :)

KIDDO NOTES
I need to sit down to type this one. Hubby was starting to get the kids ready for their bath so he dumped Boy1 on the potty and told him to wait there. He left him all alone! I heard what sounded like a plop (all the way on the other side of the house!) then shortly after I hear Boy1 holler "I pooped in the potty". I went in and he stood up to show me! (Yummy! NOT) I am excited to report that the little turd FINALLY left one where it actually should be left (instead of his pants that is!). Crossing my fingers here that maybe he will continue to do this as we sure made a bid deal out of it! (That and my cousin gave me a big bag of old hot wheels so we are using them as a reward for doing 'the business' in the potty!) Boy2 also got a new car after his bath! YAHOO! Excitement all around!

I must admit I would have never thought poop in a potty could ever make someone so happy! :) Ahh the things you learn as a parent!

Good night... ever been so tired that you are to tired to go to bed? LOL

#253 - A organizing I will go!

Yipee the spare bedroom is almost cleaned out, the garage sale 'crap' is almost out of the bathroom! Next job hubby is to put in a new toilet and put a sink in as well. Wohoo! Even better we can now get into the bathroom to flush the toilet as the water was getting disgusting! Well I thought it was the toilet but it turns out it was from the sink drain (there is no sink just the drain and there was no water in the pipe so yucky stink was filling the basement! That's gotta be healthy! Well hubby fixed it tonight!)

It looks as though my mother may actually come and look after my kids while I work tomorrow! I left a big mess in the basement (mostly empty boxes!) and I made it so she couldn't see into the spare bedroom, the bathroom or the storage room. She keeps asking me if I am done yet? WTF? The shelves weren't even in the storage room and she was wondering if I had everything in there yet. Needless to say I was a little bad today and made sure that she couldn't see what I have done. She is so bloody nosy it drives me crazy. Then she was on my about the garage sale we are going to have. I said we aren't going to be ready for June so I am going to wait until late August. She said they have plans to go camping so it doesn't work for her, so I said what weekend and I will plan around her. Of course she couldn't answer because she is lying again! Then she said that she needed my course schedule for the fall semester. She said she can't help as they are going away in September (first it was for their anniversary, then it was for a week, now it's for three weeks apparently). I have 3 classes in Sept so I am sure she will make sure she is gone for the entire time. Most people would want my schedule to work around it, she only wants it so she doesn't have to come and watch the kids. Did I mention they NEVER take their holidays in September!

I am still trying to find part time care for the kids, it is not going well. Anything not to ever have to ask her to help out!

Well I am tired tonight so I better be off to bed so I am awake for my class tomorrow!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- my mother!
- cold sores (i haven't had one in about 7 years! Ugg)
- early mornings
- my mother! LOL

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- Getting my basement closer to being cleaned up & somewhat livable!
- Getting closer to not having to move things from one room to another then back again!

KIDDO NOTES
Well the monkeys were really good today! Boy1 was playing with the vacuum in the basement so I said he might as well turn it on. He did the entire floor and he did a great job too! I am going to have to let him 'play' with the one upstairs too. Maybe if I get both my vacuums going the kids will have this place spic and span! LOL

I dug one of my old 'toys' out for Baby today. It's my old 'walking' doll from when I was young. Baby had a great time with it, although I think she was a little freaked out by a Doll that was her size. Boy1 took a liking to her as her eyes shut when she is laying down and they open when she is sitting up. Boy1 was busy playing with Baby and the Doll on the bunk bed that was hiding in the back of our spare room. (I found the floor in the spare room and the kids liked the bunk beds in there!) Boy2 was busy between checking out the TV and what everyone else was doing. I found some old toys that were from my grandparents house and I gave them to Boy2 while Boy1 was playing with his sister.

Boy1 had fun with them for quite a while before Boy2 decided to enter the picture. They were really good though, no fighting over any of the 'new' toys! I was happy!

I spent the afternoon building 'stuff' with the 'new' toys I dug out! The kids had a blast! (So did mom!)

(potty training still sucks! :) )

Good Night

#223 - Why do I bother?

So I found out a friend who I have known since I was 13 was moving a province away. Well due to some issues with his girlfriends fathers electrical business. (I guess you would call her more than a girlfriend since they have 2 kids together, but who knows? Looong story). Well I decided to reach out and say good luck with your move. I Emailed my friend not the girlfriend, but apparently now SHE replies to HIS emails. (Good thing I was all politically correct!) Of course she was not so nice about things. I was just hoping to make contact with my friend but now I know that was a bad idea. I will probably never see him again so I wanted to say Good Luck at least before he leaves (he will need it with the chick he is 'attached' to. I try to be nice and what happens I get sh*t on.

This friend always knew everyone and had tonnes of friends... since he has been with the gal he is with they have all pretty much disappeared. It is sad to see someone who was such a good friend just disappear from your life because of someone in their life. Oh well he picked her and he has to live with her. I guess he has changed over the years, I suppose we all do, some for the better, some not so much. It is making me a little sad that this is the end of such a long friendship... I hope he is happy where he is moving to. (This is also the guy that announced their PG by saying, "WE WIN". He knew we were going for fertility treatments and a couple months before we had a failed cycle with the last of our frozen embryos. I guess I shouldn't be to upset! :) )

I wonder who is going to pack their stuff for them? Last time they moved we helped them, the only friend that helped them as a matter of fact. Oh ya and most of their crap wasn't packed so guess what else we did? (They knew they were moving for 3 months so it wasn't like it was a last minute thing!) Did I mention that they couldn't be bothered to help us when we moved, they were too busy. Hmm I guess I shouldn't have bothered to contact them anyway, seems like it was a one sided friendship to me?

I don't know where today went? It was a busy one (Aren't they all though ladies?)

I did manage to get the rest of my course completed tonight, exercises and all! Now I just have to get my freaking printer to work! Arrrrg! Me and wireless just doesn't seem to work!

Hubby was a complete *ss tonight and I am ready to kick him. He is so freaking grumpy sometimes I would like it if he just stayed in the garage. We didn't even speak after the kids went to bed (Probably better or we may have fought!) I think he is starting to stress about his job so I will cut him some slack this time.

One thing that drives me crazy is when we are trying to get something (we=hubby by the way!) done he doesn't always use his time wisely. He was more concerned about washing the kitchen floor (the only floor he thinks needs to be washed apparently?) than working on the storage room. He knows I am busy all day tomorrow and working on Sunday so it's tonight or nothing dude! I guess I just get something in my head and when I have a chance I just GO. I know that there is very little GO time so I utilize it when I can. He drives me crazy when he wastes precious time!

Scrapbooking tomorrow... all will be right in the world! LOL

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- grumpy hubby
- the fact that my storage room is going to probably take another 2 months to complete! :)
- guys that hook up with nasty women and don't let them be who they really are (you can never be happy if you are spending all your time trying to please someone who can't be pleased)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- sleep
- my iphone... I love that thing
- I got an award from Martha... now I just have to get organized and do something about it! :)

KIDDO NOTES
The kids were pretty good today and I was in a better mood too (hmmm maybe I am the problem LOL). Boy2 even asked to go potty 3 times today! He almost made it through the day but he had one accident in the evening... so close! Boy1 actually used the Potty successfully once today. This is going to take a while I think!

We took the kids out to our local trade fair today. I wanted to look so we took the triple stroller so I could look and not worry about kids escaping on me. The comments drive me crazy, I guess when you have a triple stroller you have to expect that. I don't like being the center of attention so the stroller drives me kind of crazy. I suppose when I take that I at least don't have to worry about anyone running off! The local gymnastics club has a setup for the kids to try out and it was really quiet. The kids all had fun. Usually Boy2 is afraid of new people and things, not today, he was right into the whole gymnastics thing. Boy1 wouldn't go until he saw Boy2 having fun. It was a role reversal today! What a pair!

Baby oh that Baby... screamed getting into the truck, screamed getting out, screamed getting into the strolled, screamed when we left the gymnastics place, screamed in the stroller, screamed getting into the truck.... I think you get the picture. She HATES getting into the Truck. Oh and she discovered that she can scream even louder if she really tries... OH MY! Well at least she was perfect in between the screaming episodes!

Oh my mom was coming to look after the kids so we could go to the trade fair. Ya that never happened. She got 'sick' today! Oh well it's good for them to get out anyway!

Well I better get to bed, it's past midnight

Oh ya and I have decided to try twitter... see my sidebar!

#217 - Friday!

Happy Good Friday to you!

Well I made it through my course... just barely! :) It was just plain painful! I had my largest class ever, 18 people. They were all at varying levels (the painful part). A few students were downright ignorant too! Lovely. I had a really tough time getting through the material. It was just plain gross. I was not expecting to get great reviews, but they were actually pretty good considering how crappy I thought it was going. Two people commented that I was "dull". That one just cracks me up! (I guess I was just too focused on getting through the material this time I guess!) One lady said I was the best instructor she has ever had at the college that I teach at. (That one cracked me up to as this class was just brutal! LOL)

Oh yes and another Lady has asked me to do some contract work for her. Silly me I said yes! It should only be a couple hour job though! I know I am an idiot! :)

I am just listening the the thunder roll. It's raining and thumping here. That should help take the rest of our snow away! :) We never get thunder at this time of year, it sounds kind of strange!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- feeling so tired every time I teach a 2 day course

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- having hubby home for the day

KIDDO NOTES
We had a busy day today! We made chocolates this morning, Baby was even trying to help. I let her lick a wee bit off the spoon that kept her happy for about a half hour! After lunch we decorated Easter Eggs. Baby was totally into that! I couldn't believe it not even a mess, phew! They had a great time with the eggs.

At times like this I think of how lucky I am. So many years hubby and I celebrated Easter, wishing and hoping to one day have a family. I just loved watching the kids create our Easter gifts today it brings me such peace to watch them. At least if I had to suffer for 11 or so years, now I am getting to just enjoy.

Today was our first day without afternoon naps, for the boys. Last night was a yet another nightmare at bedtime so we decided to try not having a nap today. Well at least tonight it seems to have done the trick. Time will tell. Baby had a bit longer nap today and that seemed to make a difference in her disposition this evening too. Now we won't get anything done in the afternoon either! Yikes, when am I going to work?

During Baby's afternoon nap the boys and I had a date with my cricut. I cut out some boxes to put our chocolates in and some cards. The kids love to pull the paper off the mat! They even did some colouring on the boxes.

We did have our usual toy fights today... but other than that it was a great day.

Off to work tomorrow then we have Easter Brunch with the family on Sunday.

Happy Easter to those who Celebrate!

#185 - Friday already?

OK where did the week go? I can't believe another Friday is here! Why is it that some days feel like they just fly by and some weeks just disappear, they are all the same length after all.

For some reason this week I am really tired. I am not really sure why? I feel worse than usual and I even snuck in a nap this week!

I had to work tonight, and that even went by fast. (Hubby was disappointed I had to work at the store as I was offered another course, the money for the course is MUCH better than working at the store. Oh well next time maybe)

I have some catching up to do on my blog reading. I am a little behind as per usual! There just isn't enough hours in the computer part of my day.

I was able to work on a layout in my scrapbook this morning. I was playing with my cricut. I love design studio! I decided to cut some words out of Tags to put in my album. I was really happy with the results, although I really need to look at a ruler when I am sizing things as they were a little big. No concept of size here! :)

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- when there is 1/2 of a square of toilet paper (tp) on the role and there aren't any more rolls in the vicinity.
- I have this 'thing' about tp. It seems like I am the only one who EVER changes the roll. It doesn't matter where I go, home, out, my parents. I always seem to get the last square. When I used to live at home I got so angry that NO ONE ever changed the roll that I made a sign "ON STRIKE" and I left it in place of a new roll of TP. (If the roll is pretty much empty, take it off, put a new one on and put the empty one on top of it people! LOL) Goodness DO I ever have POTTY issues! :)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- my family
- my kiddos discovering new things

KIDDO NOTES
Well we are still in grumpy mode around here. Hope it passes soon! Maybe it's just me being so busy lately.

Potty training still sucks! It is staying about the same, which is better than going backwards I suppose. But kids, solids in potty not pants.... plllleaaassee!

I am really enjoying Baby, she is an amazing little creature. She is very much like Boy1 in a lot of ways. It amazes me how she likes to entertain herself, she is happy just discovering and playing. I love to watch her go some times. She needs very little to keep happy! She is also a bit of a TV junkie like Boy2, she likes to sit downstairs in a rocking chair and watch Bob the Builder. (Needless to say I don't have the TV on much so her and Boy2 will actually play instead of starring at the TV)

My plan for this weekend is to finish off the light blocking device for the boys room. We already have a room darkening blind and we put a board up in the window. Well the board was cut to pretty much fit the window but it lets the teeniest bit of light through. I swear that Boy1 can smell it! So I am going to cover it with quilt batting and I am hoping to find a cheap duvet cover for a single bed. I am hoping that will fit. If not I am going to have to drag out the old sewing machine and make a cover for it. I want something I can take off and wash if I want to.

If I can get that done I will be happy, then I guess I need to start one for Baby's window!

#158 - Oh No I missed a day!

I have been keeping out of trouble the last couple of days. I had to work last night and today (I think someone different was doing the scheduling this month... usually it's Thursday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday). It's a pain working Friday night then Saturday. There was a mix up on Friday night, there was a late night crop, only the lady that was working it forget. She did show up which was good, but we were a bit late getting out of there. Today was busy and we were training a new gal so that kept me out of trouble. Then we had the nice people that just kept shopping and shopping and shopping after we were closed. Like hello people have some respect for other people's time. I never do that. If I come in close to closing I am always out at least 5mins before any store closes. This one women kept looking for more stuff and her friend kept trying to get her out, that part was at least somewhat humorous!

Friday I didn't get much work done on my course prep, but I am back in the swing of things so I am going to get back at it tomorrow. I would much rather do something fun with the kids, but I have to take advantage of hubby being home. I also have to get ready for a meeting next week for one of my contracts, so I think Sunday will be a busy day.

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- people who don't understand what Closing time means

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- meeting new people at work (we have a new staff member and I really like her) Aaaannd she may be a candidate for looking after my kiddos when I work Fridays (now I just have to find someone for when I work any of the other days of the week.. uggg)

KIDDO NOTES/POTTY BLOG

Huston we have lift-off! Are you sitting down? Boy1 got up this morning and peed on the potty! Yey. Boy2 did the same! Finally Boy1 seems to be getting on the 'train'. Hubby tells me it was a pretty good day for potty training today. I am hoping we are on a roll now! We just have to get the #2 thing going next!

Last night when I was at work Hubby tells me that Boy1 gave baby a fat lip. He wasn't in the room, but it looks like Boy1 bonked baby on the lip with her dolly. (It has a hard plastic head). He said he hit baby when hubby walked in the room. He is usually really good with her so I am not sure what actually happened.

We had visitors this evening so the Boy2 and Baby had their screaming fits. Boy1 was Mr. Social for a change. Hubby gets so mad a Boy2 when he is scared, it really pisses me off. I told him that doesn't help and walked out of the room, sometimes he is such an idiot with the kids! (he is usually really great, but I guess we all have our moments. I am certainly no Mother of the year, I screw up all the time!) I don't like to see hubby getting mad at him though as that is not going to help at all.

They did eventually calm down (hubby included) and we had a nice visit. Poor hubby was all flustered we had visitors as we needed to bath the kids. Holly crap that guy is un-friendly when he has other plans. Like sit down and enjoy a visit you goof ball! Men... uggg!

I am amazed at all the Baby is learning these days, she is so busy walking around and repeating everything it's just happening so fast. I am trying to soak in every moment as I know it will fly by so fast. Her latest obsession is to 'fall down', off the couch, off the bed, off the stool, off whatever she can get up on. I really have to watch her right now as who knows what she is going to climb up on and fall off. She isn't quite like the boys in that she does it very gently and carefully. I am glad to see she is somewhat cautious. I am however worried that she may try it off something to high one of these days. We try all sorts of words with her and she will pretty much try to repeat anything! Some she is better at then others.

On Friday our house pest stopped by, and no he's not staying. He needed to pick some of his stuff up. (We are storing a bunch of his belongings). Anyway he had gotten a hold of some second hand train set pieces for the kids and he dropped them off. He definitely has a kind heart. He also thanked us again for all that we have done for him. It does look like he may have a really good full time job now too, he finds out next week. I am crossing my fingers for him. Then we will only have a weekend guest every 2 or 3 months instead as it's in another city. I can deal with that.

Anyway after he dropped the stuff off for the kids, they waved good bye. The Boy1 said " Good Man", then Boy2 repeated it of course. I am not sure where they got it from but I thought it was pretty cute!

#157 - The weekend is almost here!

Well I got back to work today on my course prep. I wasn't feeling it, but once I got going it wasn't so bad. According to my calculations I am 15% complete! LOL I need to know these things. I could have done a little more tonight but I wanted to try to stick to my 10pm stop time for all things work related. I am having trouble keeping to my 11pm bed time though, as I can't seem to get through my blog list and post updates to my blog in one hour!

Speaking of blogs. I am glad to see that MaryEllen and Steve are 10 weeks pregnant I am so hoping her PG is uneventful. More good news in the IF blog sphere, Sky has a cute little baby boy. I love to hear good news! When I first started my blog list there were little or no mothers but as each month goes by it seems as if my Mother's list is growing. I am always happy to see this. I can't wait until one day all of the gals that I read find their way to motherhood.

So I see IVF is in the news AGAIN, A 60 year old gave birth to twins here in Canada. Man I had my boys in my early 30's and it is quite enough work for me. I can't imagine trying to have twins at that age. Now I don't begrudge anyone trying to have a family but there just seems to be something wrong with this? I guess no clinics in Canada would treat her, so she had to go overseas. I am glad my tax dollars are hard at work paying for her hospital stay and her babies hospital stay. Isn't Pregnancy hard enough on your body without being 60? Maybe I am wrong? I just hate to see all this craziness these days cause a bunch of rules to be instituted that maybe don't apply to everyone. What a crazy world we live in. (Crap my husband is in his 40's and he says he's to old to try to have another one! LOL)

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- MS OFFICE, it crashes when my default printer is set to an HP printer. Apparently Microsoft says I have to set a different default, but I can still print to the HP. That's a great fix people! So glad I spend most of my time on the MAC OS!
- grumpy hubby
- I can't figure out why my slice won't cut today? Arg!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- finding some ambition where I thought there was none!
- getting a tiny bit of scrapbooking done each day!

KIDDO NOTES/POTTY BLOG!

So as for my potty blog, well Boy2 was doing a little better today. He at least is using the potty a bit. Boy1, I am not sure about this fella, will sit and sit and sit, but nothing usually happens. At least he is sitting on it! One time something will happen I suppose. I just can't wait until my life is not revolving around the potty!

In the morning the kiddos want to go downstairs to play. So we usually go down around 10:30ish and come up before lunch. They all have their reasons, Baby likes to climb up and down the stairs, Boy2 wants to watch Bob the Builder, and Boy1 who knows? It depends on the day I suppose.

The boys each take a toy down with them and Boy2 takes his blanket (I am not sure what the toy thing is about as there is a much downstairs as up? But whatever keeps them from screaming!) Boy1 does whatever, builds a 'fake fire', colors, and other stuff. Boy1 is glued to the TV (as long as Miss Spider isn't on. I can't even switch to another kids channel as he is afraid of half the commercials, sheesh). Baby wanders from Toy to stairs to Toy to stairs. They also get a little snack when we go down (I am sure they are starved since they just finished breakfast?). Anyway I give them a little bowl with a few goldfish each. (Baby spills her's almost every day so today I decided to put the bowl on the floor and save a few steps!)

Baby is funny. One or two goldfish, then off to play, then back for another, then off to play again! The boys wanted to color today so I gave them their crayons and they sat at their little picnic table to color. Baby decided she wanted to join in. She doesn't like paper though so I have a nicely colored table. I have to take a picture of her first art work piece! (Thank goodness for washable crayons). The little turkey would just scream if I even tried to get her to color on paper. Hmm I wonder who thinks she is the boss of the house?

We always clean up the toys before we go upstairs. Baby was even helping today, hopefully this trend will continue! Boy2 is kind of getting lazy in the clean up department these days so I am not sure what to do to get him motivated?

All in all it was a pretty good day.... then comes bed time. I think the hubby actually makes it worse, I am not sure. All I know is I dread putting the boys to bed. It's just all chaos. Probably doesn't help that we are in a hurry to 'put them away' for the night so we can get other stuff done. I hope we improve on the night time routine soon. I can't stand when my hubby gets so mad at them. I think it has been good that we have actually been together a bit as he sees how I deal with them when they are bad, and I THINK he is actually paying attention! Maybe there is a little light at the end of the tunnel with that guy! LOL

Anyway off I go to bed! Only 45mins late!

#150 - Halfway to 300!

Ok so I thought the title was funny, not exactly sure why though?  OK so it's late and and I am just silly.

I have been trying to get my thoughts together for some interesting posts on IF and surviving IF but everything is in a jumble so far.  I think I am at the processing stage and possibly at the point in my life where I can finally take that deep breath and just go on.  More on all this later when I get my proverbial crap together!

Today I got another scrapbook page done!  YEY!  At this rate I may get caught up in 20 years!

I am anxious to start playing with my new version of Adobe Photoshop that I just purchased. (educational discount, yey, shouldn't have purchased, but I did!  LOL)  Maybe I will get to do a few things yet tonight!

Well I still haven't heard from the mother!  I thought it was a good thing, but I have noticed that I tense up everytime the phone rings.  Not good, really need to let go and just take her for what she is.

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- Rain in January, come on I live in CANADA Mr Weather Maker!  Snow, freezing cold, etc. that's January.  Not rain!  The roads were horrible on the way home from work tonight, but I didn't hit anything so that is good!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- Baking with the kiddos
- Coming to some realizations about where I am with my feelings about IF (a post on this coming some day I promise!)
- Making it home safely after a bad drive (glad to know that I can still drive on nasty roads without hitting stuff)
- A happy hubby

KIDDO NOTES
Tonight when I went to work I got hugs and kisses from all three. Now that Baby is walking she comes to give me a hug and a kiss, then she natters away.  It is so hard to leave I just want to remember these moments forever.  Her little face smiling at me after I closed the baby gate, her little wave, saying 'goo bye'.  I could just eat her up!

The kids all helped make some Chocolate Chip Blondie things today!  OMG they are soooo good.  (I didn't have enough butter so I used 1/2 butter and half margarine and I hate nuts so I left them out and put a few more Chocolate chips in).  OMG yummy!  Sheesh I wonder why I am fat!  LOL!  I always put the dry ingredients in a bowl each for the boys to stir and I gave a bowl to baby so she could stir too.  I think she was a little annoyed that I didn't put anything in her bowl (but she would just eat it anyway!)  I had all my igredients on the counter.  The boys stood on one side and I sat Baby on the counter.  They stirred and had a blast and I gave them all some chocolate chips when we were done.  Baby liked those!  These are the moments that I prayed for so long ago when IF was eating me alive.   I am so incredibly lucky to be living my dreams.

We also spent some time downstairs, we always have to play downstairs too.  (Yey mom gets a bit of scrapbooking in when we are downstairs.)  Now that Baby is not napping in the morning I get a lot less done.  She needs a little more 'help' at things then the boys do.  Today she was angry that I wouldn't let her play on the stairs, I know I am such a bad mom!  Well she was screaming and screaming (great thing she learned from the brothers *sigh*) and just wouldn't shut up.  There was no way I could distract her with toys either.   I wanted to cut some letters for the page I started so I got out my cutting machine, set Baby on the table, let the boys do the cutting and wooola everyone was happy.  It's great that the boys want to help, it accomplishes two things, I spend time with them and I get to work on my scrapbook!  It slows me down when they help but what do I care everybody is happy!

Boy1 was still busy on his phone all day.  When we were done with the Blondies he had to call someone and tell them about what he just did.  It is too funny when he starts his hysterical laughing on the phone!  He is quite the character.

Today was a bit of a Challenge in the morning, who am I kidding it was nasty start to the day!  LOL.  It started with a Boy1 meltdown, then Boy2.  The baking seemed to get everyone back on track again and it gave me some one on one time (sort of) with the boys.  I always try to talk to each of the seperately when we do stuff together to give them each a sense of being a seperate person.  I suppose one day I will find out if it is working or not!

Good Night

#145 - Course status DONE, Me status DONE!

Well that wasn't fun, I am so glad it's over with.  Well I am glad the course is done, and it's the last one that I need!  Thank goodness for that.  I did meet some great people that I hope to keep in touch with.

My practice teaching didn't go as well as I hoped.  I was to tired, I wasn't inspired by the course and I just wanted to be done.  I got 19 out of 20 in the practice... which really isn't bad, but I got 20/20 on the last two so I was somewhat disappointed in myself.  More importantly I actually learned something from the practice this time, I missed something, that sort of accidentally happened in the last two.  I just wish I would have picked up on it sooner! :)  Oh well I am done!

My house pest (formerly know as the house guest) also left this am so I was happy.  I hope he doesn't come back on the weekend.  I am needing our space back!  It was so nice to have Sunday supper with the family!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- instructors that do not following the outline
- not doing my best

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- knowing that I learned something from a screw up
- the house pest left the building
- hubby is still in a good mood after spending the entire weekend with the kiddos

KIDDO NOTES

It was a break through day!  Hubby was doing dishes, I was in the 'biffy', I heard boy2 say he had to go potty.  Then Boy1 yelled "Boy2 pooped, Boy2 Stinky".  Then Boy2 yelled "Boy2 pooped".  All by himself, no help from anyone.  We were not even in the room.  So I was disappointed I "missed" the big event.  Hubby went running when Boy1 went and told him the news!  Boy2 was excited!  Lets hope this leads to more of the same!  (Although the thought of cleaning poop out of those little potties seriously makes me want to gag!)  The weird thing is that Boy2 did not do anything in the potty today.  It was a bad day my hubby said, and he usually always does the #1 stuff in the potty.  Strange?  Oh well at least we got the first one done!

This evening I learned that I must be on the computer WAY to much.  The boys pulled out their 'computers' tonight.  (They each have a coil ring book, one  of the pages is blue)  They open their 'computers', the blue page is the screen and they prop it up against a toy or the couch.  They have their own laptops apparently?  Well it started with Boy1 and his computer had a dead battery so he had to plug it in.  Then Boy2 decided that he was going to check his email.  The Boy1 decided to send Mom and email.  Then Boy2 decided to type on his 'computer'.  I was amazed at how he was moving both hands on his 'keyboard'. Then they had a video conference with our friend, then it was time for a picture slide show.  They would bring their 'computers' over to 'show' us the picture.  They would tell us who was in the picture, then back to their spots to do something else.  It was quite comical.  They definately watch what we do that's for sure!

We also had dance night at our house.  We like to keep the TV off, if the kids want to watch TV we say lets put some music on!  So tonight I had my laptop so I got my itunes going and way they went.  BoneyM - Rasputin! 80s music here we come (I am not sure if that was from the 80s persay but that's when I listened to it! ha ha).  Well baby was doing the, I am new to walking thing, wiggling to the music and moving her arms around.  Boy1 was walking around and kind of jerking to the music, weird kid! :)  Boy2 was going crazy, like kids at a Rave I suppose?  They had a blast, we had a giggle, then it was off to bed!

I definately have 3 unique individuals here and I am loving every minute of it!

Good night!

#144 - If I hear another quote I am going to barf!

Well only one more day of my course to go!  Thank goodness.   I am really not sure what I am getting out of this one.  The group has gotten together and tried to be more interactive so that we can get more out of it.  No doubt that this guy is a great speaker.  But enough of your quotes, half the time they don't even relate to the topic, If they do I am not sure how?  He finally let up on talking about the book he wrote.  I was going to start counting the times he referenced it but then I got sidetracked!  I think by lunch he finally dropped hints about his book and moved on to the book he is researching (about hope, not really related to what we were discussing).  I think we are driving him just as crazy by interrupting his flow with questions.  At one point he told us to take a half hour and read one of the modules so that we could discuss it.  A) I am taking the class to learn something from YOU.  B) I can read at home (not that I ever find time).  I just found the whole exercise pointless?   Most of the time I don't even know what his topic is. Really good instructor for a train the trainer type of class?  I have no doubt that he knows his stuff, but I sure am not absorbing it.   On another note I have learned some things about me personally,  I will share when I am a little less pressed for time (I need to finish my lesson plan for my practice teaching tomorrow AND I need to get to bed)

Last night was bad!  I was going to bed early then a friend IM'd me.  Well we ended up online until 1am (stupid me, as if I wasn't tired enough already).  I tell you I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  I think I was so overtired it was almost like being drunk!  I was just silly!  We were laughing at each other so hard we were both crying.  We were using the mac app IChat and there is an option to add effects to your video.  Well when you are in a silly mood you can sure have fun with that.  We weren't using the audio, just the video and we were still typing.  I told my friend after that this is what nerds do for fun (well this nerd anyway!)   What I should have been doing is trying to figure out something for my lesson plan, but instead I was making funny faces on my computer!  I am truly losing it!

Well I think I have commented on all the blogs on the ICLW list now, exhale!  If I missed anyone please slap me! (over the computer of course!)  I may have to try to go through the entire list twice just to make sure I didn't miss anyone!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- paying a lot of money for a course and feeling like I am getting very little practical knowledge out of it
- getting up 3 hours earlier than usual on a Saturday
- not having a 'down' day this week

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- I am almost done my last course that I am required to take!
- Not hearing from my mother for a week (I must really be in the dog house)
- Hugs from Baby (the boys wouldn't hug me when I got home today :( )  complete with the pat on the back

KIDDO NOTES

I hate being away from them all day.  I do miss them, not the noise, but them! :)   I find it much easier to be with them all day then to come home to the craziness at the end of a long tiring day.  They were really good tonight so that is helpful!  I felt kind of bad as I couldn't spend much time with them as I had to get ready for my course tomorrow.  It does make me happy that I was able to quit my full time job as it always seemed to include overtime, I just can't imagine being away that much from the kiddos.  I really don't know how working family's manage everything, my hat's off to you!  I imagine the dynamic will change again when they are in school.  Change ugg, it seems like with kids, just when you get used to the way things are the little monkeys change all the rules on you!  (I suppose that's where it's handy to be able to have kids when you are young as you aren't quite so set in your ways and you can change things up quicker!! LOL OK so I feel like I am 80! HA HA)

So if anything interesting happened today with the kiddos the hubby will tell me in a couple of days when he remembers it! :)  I know how he feels.

We did have Boy1 actually do some #2 'business' on the potty tonight.  I wasn't much but hopefully it's a start.  So I gave him is truck, but I said he has to at least try to do some #1 on the potty tomorrow.  (Boy2 is the one that has been doing all the #1 business so far.  He said he is going to do some 'business tomorrow, time will tell!)  Then there is Baby, apparently someone else's 'business' stink is ok, it's just her 'business' stink that makes her cry.  She was 'inspecting' the buisness tonight (and it wasn't sweet smelling trust me) and there was no tears.  She screams when she is done her 'buisness' and wants off the potty right now!  I guess she already thinks she should smell like a rose, oh great!

Oh why can't they come pre-trained?  (Welcome ICLW'ers my blog is about Potties!  It seems like that's all I talk about these days! :) )

With that, good night!

#139 - Monday again? Wow time flies

Time seems to be getting eaten by the clock around here... when I find out which clock it is I am getting that sucker out of this house!

Well the house guest left today.  Hubby had to drive him to his sisters.  (Hmm I wonder why he can't stay there every now and again?) It was good to have him here today as the kids are always pretty good when someone else is around.  I do need my house back, I am sure it will only be for a couple of days but I will take it.  It feels like the house guest is getting a little to comfortable here now, he must think we are made of money or something.  I suppose compared to him we are looking pretty sweet in the money department.  Sheesh after 2 full rounds of IVF and 4 frozen cycles our savings is pretty much shot.  Now that I am not working full time we really have to watch our money and having an extra full size mouth to feed is not exactly in my budget.  Ugg!   I am just hoping he gets a job this week so that I know he won't be here for a while, other wise he will be here for a minimum of 6 weeks, probably every weekend.  It is driving me crazy to feel so invaded but I just can't bring myself to kick him out as he doesn't have anywhere to go except back to the streets.   He is in a bad position and we are in a bad position.  I just keep thinking it may be driving me crazy but at least it's some kind of good deed???

The mother was being a hag again today.  She phoned and said she may try driving out (it was summer driving conditions today).  I was so mad that I didn't answer the phone.  I figured I didn't need the aggravation and I had already told them I couldn't make the meeting anyway.  I really need to get to the point that I can just ignore her.  I am going to start looking for a real babysitter soon.   It was interesting that Carrie27 said that she wasn't coming over to babysit, she was coming over to see her grand kids.  That's the thing with my mother, it's babysitting and she tells everyone how much she does for us!  That's really what drives me crazy!  Everyone that she talks to thinks she does SO much!

Well I got a call from job 3 today.  It wasn't for more work (bummer), he just had a question. Fortunately (unfortunately for me) I did such a good job on fixing up their system that it doesn't break anymore!    So what I am doing... started working on another contract last night.  Yey more work, I seriously need the cash (gotta pay for that little fender bender I was in on the 4th).  It's a small job but hopefully it will continue to lead to more work!  I am building a small access database for someone.  I love the small projects it's always fun!  It's been a couple of years since I programmed in access so it's giving my brain a workout!  Which is good!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- parents that think they can treat their kids however they want and the kids have to put up with it
- house guests that are getting to comfortable in MY house!
- potty training/poop/pee etc!
- still mornings!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- solving a programming problem (I think it makes me feel smart!  LOL)
- making supper for hubby and him liking it and saying how good it was (I don't cook very well/often so I think it was just good because he didn't have to cook it!)
- a break from the house guest
- watching baby walk around the house

KIDDO NOTES
Well it was not a great potty training day here.  Boy2 will not poop in the potty so it was training pants fill up day!  I will be sooooo glad when they are all trained!

The kids were pretty good today!  Just the usual, I want the toy you have screaming match.  But other than that it was all good!  Baby is amazing to play on her own.  I just watch her some days, just to see what she is going to do.  Today she was playing with her doll house and put one chair on top of the other, in the window?  Then the beside table was on the railing for the stairs, as was the kitchen table?  She is obsessed with stairs.  I have to watch her as she climbs on anything and stands up and says 'stairs'.  Today it was the little chair in her bedroom, last night it was the large stuffed froggy in the boys room.  I guess since I don't let her play on the stairs she has to find her own!  (I remember when Boy2 was obsesessed with the stairs, it seems like so long ago now!)

Every few days the boys want me to re-do the track on their train table, I really need to get some more pieces!  (I - ha ha)  It's driving me crazy that when you use some of the pieces that the track doesn't line up the right way, I need a conversion pack so I can build cooler tracks!  Right now they just like to run their trains/cars/dinosaurs/whatever on the tracks, so I get to do the track design.  It's so going to suck when they take over the building! LOL!  I love spending time doing this with them.  Boy1 always tries to find pieces (he can't find toys in front of him but he always seems to find pieces that I couldn't find!), Boy2 is the track tester.  He just tells me to hurry up, apparently he doesn't like dead ends!   I am so going to hate it when they go to school!  I am going to miss so much time with them.  :(  I am already dreading it!

Special times with the boys or watching baby learn to walk and talk and discover are things I could have never imagined during all the years of 'trying'.  I am so very lucky to be able to experience all of this.  I just wish it wouldn't go by so incredibly fast!

Good night! I am excited to see history unfold tomorrow in the US

#134 - I missed a day? What was I thinking!

I can't believe that I never got around to blogging yesterday?  What was I thinking! :)

So I have been keeping busy.  A bit of scrapbooking, a bit of computer stuff.  Looking to see if I want Adobe Photoshop or Elements.  Trying to setup a website instead of using ETSY.  I just haven't had much success with ETSY so I thought I would go it alone!  Of course I am trying to find the cheapest way possible to setup a site.  In the process I decided I need Photoshop or Elements, because a) I need more stuff to do and b)I have so much money to spend (NOT)  LOL!

I just am never happy with 'packaged' software etc.  I always have to add my own spin, cause I have so much extra time!  HA HA!

(I just had to run to the boys room Boy1 just fell out of bed!  Poor kid probably fell asleep sitting up then fell over! :) )

Where did this week go?  I can't believe it's Friday!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- not enough time to scrapbook
- not enough time to learn new computer 'stuff'
- not enough time!!!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- watching baby walk around (that sort of makes me sad too!)
- hugs in the morning for the kiddos!

KIDDO NOTES
Baby was so darn cute today.  She was walking around before I went to work and she followed me to the back door.  She was blowing me kisses and chatting away.  It was just to cute for words!  I am so lucky to have her and her brothers, I just thank my lucky stars every day!

Boy1 managed to pee in the potty today!  YEY!  Boy2 is doing really well.. and Baby wants to try too!  Potty training 3 at once, not recommended.  I don't know how Kate from John and Kate managed to do her sextuplets!  I feel like I am in the bathroom 5000 times a day!

Pretty much our life revolves around the potty!  Not my idea of a great place to spend time!  I just keep telling myself I will be SO happy when they are all trained!

The boys have been really good this week.  They have been really fun to 'hang out with' this week.

Good night

#88 - Busy Day

Well it was another busy one at our house.  Up and off to Rhymes and Story times.  Baby was more interested in crawling around than any of the nasty singing 'schtuff'.  Trust me if you have heard me sing you would know why I say Nasty!  :)  Then it was home for the scream fest!  We are talking massive scream fest.  I thought the kiddos would be happier after being out all day, guess not! I fed them lunch.  Had a call that really upset me then it was nap time, do a little setup on the new computer, and doing work for Job #3!  Now I just have to finish my invoice and send it in and we are good to go!  (There is a part of the money for my computer! :) )

After all that it was supper, then the folks came and brought out their motor home to store for the winter.  We have a lot of crap around here now! :)  Just when I thought I could sit for a minute it was time for baths and bed for the kids.  Finally I get to do some setup on my computer, but now I am so tired!  Oh well all in good time!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- rushing in the morning
- not being able to helped my stressed little boy
- my husband loosing patience with the kidlings
- not having any time to get anything done
- how fast the kidlings grow

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- when stressed little boy smiles
- looking at old photos of the kidlings
- a new computer that works great and is close to being setup
- being home

KIDDO NOTES
Baby was not into the whole Rhymes and Storytimes today, and I did not talk to anyone one except one of the folks leading the circle.  (I suppose I don't have much in common with the five unwed moms that are probably close to half my age! :) )  Baby was trying to stand up as she saw another little boy doing the same, I guess she didn't want to be outdone!

Boy1 was just starring at everyone with his finger up his nose. Lovely! He just leaves it there and stands and stares!  Weird kid!

Boy2 was in one of his over protective moods today.  He didn't want Baby to scoot around.  I think he was afraid I may leave her there or something?  It was kind of funny that there was a sippy cup from another boy on the floor and when Baby was near it Boy2 would say "No BABY, Mooooom, BAAABBBY".  It was so weird, I am not even sure what he was worried about and she wasn't even touching it.  At one point he went and got Baby's sippy cup and gave it to Baby.  Strange little man.

The kids had a pretty rough day.  They know it's only me and they are testing the limits, I guess they figure they have mom outnumbered!  Greaaaaat!  I hope we can get back into routine soon, I suppose all that spoiling at Grannies is going to make my life a little interesting and very loud right now!

#87 - I should be in bed

What a crazy day!  Our house guest left (more on that later).  Lets just put it this way I was not happy until he left.

I had to go to a meeting with Job #2 this morning and install some changes for Job#3 this afternoon.  Not to mention feeding/dressing/changing kids.  Getting rid of the house guest and purchasing a new computer!  Tomorrow is not looking any better, Rhymes and Story times in the morning and Job #3 in the afternoon.  I really need to go to bed! :)

That reminds me I need to put my laundry in the dryer!  If the kids are going to wear their cute Halloween outfits tomorrow!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- Having to run around
- Having more things to do than time to do it in, can someone tell me where the last year went please?
- The bill for my new computer!
- My mastercard bill! :)
- The house guest (I feel like a house for wayward souls!)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- My new computer
- My house to our family only FINALLY

KIDDO NOTES
Baby was standing on her own yesterday, I thought she may walk today, but not quite yet.  She gets all giddy and excited.  It looks so funny she has her legs so far apart.  I remember the boys doing the same thing when they started walking.

Boy1 has decided to be shy.  We had visitors tonight and he hid in the kitchen most of their visit?  I went and got him and put held him on my knee for a while.

Boy2 is totally freaked when either his father or I leave the room/house.  God forbid either one of us go out for a while.  I wish he didn't have such anxiety, I feel bad for the little fella.

Anyway more stuff to do before bed.  I have some more interesting stuff to post about our vacation and house guest that I hope to get to in the next couple of days!

#65 - Fricken Fracking... arg!

So I feel ill, sick, like throwing up. A while back we bought this crap hole of a house, from a crap hole of of a owner. We were lead to believe the septic system was fairly new (lying crap hole of a previous owner). So we had a house inspection done (if you have been reading a while you probably have read some of this before). We wanted to make sure the septic system and the water system were ok. We were told they were ok (we already spent $6000 on the water system!) Then we found out that the tank was about to collapse. Needless to say the inspection company came back, said they would pay half, then said they wouldn't do anything as my husband was to grumpy. So after agreeing to pay half they reneged. So because someone else screwed up and someone else lied we are essentially screwed. It gets better!

The backhoe operator came today, he is not sure he wants to do the job. He is concerned about the complexity of it. The gas company has not given us clearance to dig. There are 2 gas lines in the way. We can't get rid of the old tank as there is a gas line over it and one beside it, we can't put the new tank where the old tank is due to the gas line. It's a freaking mess, I am sure it's going to cost us double the quote we got, and we will still have to deal with the mound, there may be issues with that due to the condition of the tank. I guess I am going to have to bend over an pull $10,000 out of my arce! As if IVF didn't already drain our freaking banking accounts.

I am just so angry that we tried to do all the right things and where the heck did it get us? I am angry that the previous owner signed a contract that he was supposed to disclose any major issues (and ya he knew about it, guaranteed). I am angry that the inspection company screwed us over. I am angry that our only recourse is our lousy legal system and I can't afford to go to court. (I wish there was a lawyer in the family!)

Oh ya and we are also having furnace problems, that we had when we took possession.... the jerk that owned this place knew about them too I am sure!

THINKS THAT TICK ME OFF
- people that screw other people (bet ya saw that one coming didn't ya)
- real estate contracts that aren't worth squat
- living in this freaking house and finding new issues constantly
- being stressed due to this mess
- getting ready to go on vacation and looking like we will have no money to do so
- garbage day

THINGS THAT I LOVE
- my kids
- my cousins daughter who came over to help me with my kids today! She even did my dishes for me, it was like a mini vacation!
- people that do a good job and are courteous (we had our furnace cleaned today, the guy was great. To bad it was more money out the freaking window)
- my kids cleaning up their own toys

KIDDO NOTES
So after today I think the kids education funds might have to be spent on our septic tank! OK maybe not, but I think this is going to be a slow year for contributions! :(

So Baby was in prime form today. She was quite goofy, scooting around on her butt, back and forth, shaking her head and giggling. She actually spent time with my cousin's daughter (I am going to call her SweetSmile, SS for short) while I was in the room. She finally will go to SS so it was nice to have her play with her for a while. I think Baby really enjoyed it too as SS was bouncing her and she loves it.

The boys were good, they liked the furnace cleaning, except the really noisy parts.

Of course the furnace guy arrived at lunch (boy2 didn't scream today yey!). I was lucky SS just took over and got the kiddos fed for me. (She is coming over tomorrow too I am so lucky!)

Boy1 is suffering from constipation again. That poor child. I did enjoy my morning I sat for a minute when the phone rang, before I knew it I had Boy1 on my lap with his blanket and some toys. I sat for a while and just held him. He was laying across my lap and I got to rub his back. The kids aren't very cuddly so I did enjoy it. I even got a cuddle from Baby today when the noisy furnace cleaning was going on. Lucky me.

Baby was actually up on her feet and hands today. I think she is getting closer to walking, that will be scary. My Baby is growing up way to fast.

#62 - Excuse me but where did you put my spare time?

The weeks are just flying by. The days seem to be mere blips on the month. I feel like I am always behind and always trying to catch up. If I take a moment for myself it seems to put me behind even farther. I was exhausted today so I had a nap with the kids and therefore did not get any prep for the class I am teaching next Monday done. So it has become a night time 'sport'. Trying to prep for a class when you are exhausted is not the best thing.

I am really stressed over money and other things so I just had to rest for a while today. I told my poor kiddos that mom was grumpy today so they had to be good, and they were pretty good. Yey! I even managed to get a load of laundry done (and hubby even thanked me for doing his!). I was going to start working on my course when Baby napped in the morning but I just didn't have it in me. I guess there is always tomorrow. The problem is I need to get my handouts to the folks to print out by the end of day Thursday. Yikes!

The last few days I don't think I have been giving enough to my kids. I feel guilty, so tonight I sat down and played with them. I keep thinking that they will have three weeks of our undivided attention when we are on vacation. I just need more waking hours in my day!

THINGS THAT TICK ME OFF
- A bad nights sleep
- Getting screwed over
- Stupid Drivers
- Dumb commercials
- Being tired
- Getting behind on my Scrapbooks
- Our furnace (we are having issues with it and it wouldn't start this morning!)

THINGS THAT I LOVE
- Cheesecake
- Sleeping in (something I dream about)
- The smell of fall
- Getting things accomplished
- Baking cookies with my kids

KIDDO NOTES
Baby was very busy today, into everything she could. The boys were busy today too, getting to everything and anything when Mom was in the washroom. It is amazing the stuff those two can get into when I am indisposed for 2 mins. I kept coming out into the room wondering where the heck stuff came from. Baby was enjoying the chaos I think. (NOT GOOD! :) )

After lunch the boys got into the bran buds. For some reason they think this is a treat? They sure as heck didn't learn that from Mom! (They also eat broccoli and cauliflower? No idea???) Anyway I had to make a pit stop, I knew it wasn't going to be good as I could hear this laughing, the laughing that makes me RUN. So into the kitchen I went... OMG there was Bran-eee buds (as they call them) EVERYWHERE.

They were licking their hands and sticking them into the bowl, then watching them fall off. I suppose if I was 3 that would be pretty cool. Then they were climbing down on the floor to eat them. YUCK. (Probably feeding them to Baby no doubt). Needless to say I sent them off so I could get the floor cleaned up. The kitchen looked like a food explosion had happened in there. I suppose I should be happy that they have such creative minds!

So tomorrow we are off for Rhymes and Story Times. I pray that Boy2 does not freak-out and has some fun! I am exhausted just thinking about getting the kids out of the house! :)

#61 - Coming out of the closet and Other stuff!

OK so it is time for me to come out of the closet.... wait for it... I AM FAT. Yup that's me. For all of my readers who thought I was this skinny gorgeous super mom, you were mostly wrong! lol! I don't take myself to seriously, and I love to 'shock' people by commenting on my size. I am a plus size and I miss my skinny days. I can't believe I am not loosing weight with all the running around I am doing, and I am even eating better than I ever have? I really wish I could afford to join Weight Watchers again, as I lost 50 lbs on it once before. Maybe if I just go back to point counting that would be helpful! I used to be skinny, until I got sick a few months before our wedding. I got so sick and I wasn't eating but I was expanding so fast I was getting stretch marks. It took me 3 months to get rid of it and I think it messed up my metabolism. I felt like crap for years.

----

I would like to thank those who commented on my last post. (By the way just because you don't have twins, doesn't mean you can't complain about being busy! You know what they say "until you have walked a mile in another's shoes". Who is to say that you aren't just as busy as I am, or busier! :)

----

Frick and frack we got our bill from our hack of an electrician today. He never gave me an estimate (that I asked for). Then he made a freaking mess, not to mention a hack job. Then he sent me a total, with no details, that he said he would send. He charged us over $90/hr. We were supposed to get a deal as he is a friends dad and he did it on off work hours. He spent most of the time here looking for schtuff he lost. He used conduit for things he didn't need to so I imagine that must be really expensive. He was supposed to put a GFI on the outside of the garage and he didn't. Frig and I pissed off. I wouldn't mind paying for a good job but I think we have been over charged for a crappy job.

---

My mom called today, I told her that I wish we could afford to get someone in once a month to help out. So that would allow us a day a month to get some stuff done around here. (I was thinking that maybe grandma would like to spend some time with her grandkids???) She retorted, why don't you get a kid in it would be cheap. Are you kidding me? Then she told me that it was good that I have a part-time job to get out of the house. Oh ya cause I have so much spare time, that just makes my life so much easier... are you kidding me?

---

Man the days go by fast, by the time I get the kids organized in the morning, feed them, clean-up, do more diapering and do a load or two of laundry, then it's time to make lunch... Ok who is eating up my mornings? I have to get ready for the class I am teaching next week, so what do I do, take a nap with the kids... Yeesh!

THINGS THAT TICK ME OFF
- Diaper tabs that break off, I hate wasting things
- Grandma
- Stress
- Packing
- Dirty floors
- Hair on the bathroom floor

THINGS THAT I LOVE
- Bed time for the kids, well actually just after bed time
- The way baby sleeps on her back with her legs out to the side, It just doesn't look so comfy
- Watching baby sleep
- Hearing that a friend (fellow infertile got PG the old fashion way... hoping it all goes smoothly for her!)

KIDDO NOTES

Baby figured out how to crawl up into her foam chair. She can get in and out. She is as pleased as punch with herself. She climbs up, smiles, and sits straight up and sticks her belly out. She also started saying HAT today. She puts an empty yogurt (toy of the week) container on her head and says HAT.

If someone has seen my sweet little baby boys please send them back! :) They have been replace by two little monkeys who like to cause trouble when mom isn't watching! Just keeping tabs on those two is enough to keep me out of trouble!
