#369 - Sick already?

I have been keeping out of trouble these days. I am all prepared for my next class that runs this weekend and I am busy working on the on-line site for the store that I work at. Oh yes and I trying to get the basement back together after the furnace install and clean some stuff out while I am at it. Since I didn't have enough projects on the go already!

Oh and I got a boxing day sale all setup yesterday. I got a new printer for printing on 12*12 paper. It was a really good price and they have been around for a while and have good reviews. Next time I am going to check into the price of ink cartridges first of all. I heard that it was going to be a little pricey but I almost died when I checked out the prices today! Well I am going to keep count of my pages and see how it goes. It's still cheaper than having them printed, thank goodness! :)

Hubby is back to working 5 days a week again... YEY! Going to looove that 20% pay increase, especially after Christmas! On a sad note a shop where he used to work decided to shut down and a bunch of his friends are going to be out of work at a bad time where there is no work. I don't envy anyone who looses their jobs, especially in this crappy economy.

Hubby just went back to work today (??? next time I am booking his vacation for him... why take all this time off in the winter when all you do is complain about having too much to do in the summer and no time off??? MEN! :) ) I am SSOSOOOOOO glad he is back at work, he is driving me nuts.

KIDDO NOTES
Monday was the first day of their pre-school program. There was 2 sick, snotty kids there... so all 3 of mine are now sick. And so it starts! :) I hope they build up their little immune systems quickly! Makes me very happy that I did get them the H1N1 vaccine.

OMG I was crying after I left them at the place. I didn't expect that, it's not even school. I am SOOOO dreading that day! I didn't think it would be so difficult to leave your kids with someone you don't know. It was a horrible feeling. I kind of snuck out on them too. (They were not impressed. The boys were not there regular self the rest of the day. They also would not admit to having fun and they just had sad little faces all afternoon. They were playing me, they knew I felt bad for just leaving.) I hate not know what things they did or how they did. Man it's tough to 'let go'. They told me they are not going back and that was not fun. Next Monday should be fun.

Who knew a 4 year old could be such a turkey? Boy2 was sad faced, complete with the lip sticking out all of the afternoon. So he was playing quietly and got really sad again. So I wanted to talk to him. I asked him what was wrong. He just looked at me with these puppy dog eyes and the saddest face you ever saw. (Don't feel bad for him just yet). So finally I got it out of him. He said he was scared at school. So I started telling him the usually mom stuff. Then the little sh*t starts laughing and says Sorry Mom. He was pulling my leg, playing me like a cheap violin. Four years old and he already knows how to yank my chain. I am so screwed! :)

Needless to say I hated that I couldn't be with them I also feel like it was very traumatic for them to be just 'dumped' off. I did feel bad about that part and I think it was very hard for them. Do they have to grow up so darn fast. I am just not ready for this school thing. Letting my sweet boys out into the real world just doesn't sound like a sane thing to do these days! :) I keep trying to be positive that this is good for them and that I can spend some special time with my daughter.

With that I am off to bed... good night!

Boy#2 said they have to go back to school because 'We live in a dictatorship and Mom's the boss!'

All sorts of stuff!!

December is one of those bittersweet/emotional/wonderful/sad months...

... It takes me back to my child hood and Christmas's back then. My memories of grumpy parents where every gift was 'nice'... butttt. Oh and the mounds and mounds of toys I received and didn't even want.
... it reminds me of all the years there wasn't any gifts under the tree for that baby we so desperately wanted (94-04)
... it reminds me of our first visit to the IVF clinic which is/was 4 hours away (2003)
... it reminds me of the loss of my grandmother (Dec 12, 2003)
... it reminds me of the first time I heard the words 'Your Pregnant' (Dec 12, 2004) To be exact it was "It looks like you are Pregnant" (I wondered what the frig that meant at the time. I actually asked the nurse what "LOOKS LIKE" meant.)
... it reminds me of my first Christmas with my boys (2005)
... it reminds me of my first Christmas with my daughter (2007)
... it reminds me of moving to this crappy house (2007) and missing my old house and all the wonder decorations I had room for
... it reminds me of the first steps my daughter took (Dec 12, 2008)
and last but not least it reminds me of how lucky I am to have this wonderful family and that my Children are all healthy and happy

I wish everyone a Happy December and Hang in there if you are still in the trenches of infertility....

KIDDO NOTES
We have been a we bit sleep deprived around here. All three kids are sick. They seem to have the timing down so at least one of them is up at all times the last 3 nights. I am not sure how I am still functioning? I have been busy, between extended hours at work, painting the boys mural, Christmas cards and getting ready for a houseful on Sunday. I just hope I am not the next one to be sick!

I am looking forward to a reprieve in the weather. The highest we got to on Saturday was -30c (-22F) and Sunday morning it was -37c (-34.6F). We also set a record one night on the weekend of -46c (-50.8F). WOWSERS that's nasty... and no that is not regular temps for this part of the country! Thank goodness for remote starters is all I am saying!

Oh yes and Boy1 is learning to draw all sorts of cool things... He drew Bounce from Mrs. Spiders Sunny Patch. Had the big smiley face. The legs were coming out of the top instead of the bottom, but I thought it was pretty cool. (Not as cool as his first potato head that he drew, as they were laughing so hard it was hilarious. )

... tomorrow more cleaning.. yuck!

Good night

Goodnight

#362 - Yippe and a small tear!

Yippee! I was so excited that the last time I went out shopping I finally was able to get a hold of the new Always Infinity 'napkins'. I was lucky enough to be able to preview these and have been impatiently waiting for them to come to a store near me. Finally! Seriously who new feminine hygiene products would EVER make me happy?

So what else have I been up to? Still making Xmas gifts and I started painting the wall in my boys room and some unfinished walls in the basement. Am I freaking crazy? YES! I have changed my mind in the boys room. I am not doing just the checked black and white wall anymore. Now it's a grey border with a big white rectangle in the middle. The white rectangle is going to be stripped in the nascar logo colours and I am going to hand paint two waving checkered flags in the middle. I am going to get the rest of the paint tomorrow (even though I can't afford it! Bad me) I just want to get it all done! I promise I will post a pic when I am done (that's if it looks good that is!) Oh heck if it's crap I may even share as well!

I swear we have over a foot of snow on our lawn now! WOW there is a tonne of that crap out there! :) I do love it I must admit (good thing since I live in Winter Wonderland) however I do not like to drive in if the roads are bad.

KIDDO NOTES
So if you are wondering about the tears... I finally got Baby's first hair cut today. At 2 1/2 it's way past time! I can't believe it's my last first hair cut! It was a sad but good moment, she really needed a hair cut!

The kids did great as we were all Shaggy today. 5 hair cuts and 2 hours and they played really well for all that time. Don't worry they were rotten when they got home... they had to make up for it! :)

Good Night

#307 - It's a rough week but with some humor!

Well my work week has just started (well my work out of the house part of the week anyway! LOL) I am teaching my first course of the semester. One day down and one day to go! I am trying to just enjoy what I do, but I always worry about the students that are in the class that should be in the more advanced classes. Oh well I guess they are warned at the beginning of the course what is actually in the class and they do have the option to transfer. I always seem to get a few challenging ones in every class. I have a lady that I am not sure if she can read or even understand English for that matter. I can point to a cell on a screen, tell her to click on it and she will do EVERYTHING else but. I am not really sure what the deal is, but at least it gives me something interesting to try to figure out! So tomorrow is the 2nd and last day of the class. After the class I have to head to my other part time job and work until close at 9pm. Then on Saturday... Job2 again. Sunday = Me passing out I think! :) Actually I have to finish off one of the other courses I am working on, not to mention the ecommerce site I am trying to setup and some fixes to another application that I support.

Why does everything have to happen in the same month? LOL

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- stupid drivers (It never ceases to amaze me at the stupidity of the drivers on the road. I sure am glad I don't have to drive in rush hour traffic every day) There was an older gentleman that was cruising to get run over. He got out onto the freeway drove directly into the 'fast lane' and was doing about 20kms lower than the speed limit. Not to mention that everyone drives about 20kms over the speed limit. So what the heck he needed to be out in the fast lane for (besides to cause a traffic jam) is anybody's guess. We went for miles and he never turned left (not that you can really turn left on that road anyway!)
- my mother (she actually showed up to look after the kids today... one never knows with her) and she is such a joy to be around in the morning that I could just Throw UP!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- coming home after a long day at work! :)

KIDDO NOTES
It's so great to come home and the kids actually want me instead of Dad for a change. I even manage to get some hugs and kisses out of Baby... usually she only gives those to Dad when he gets home from work!

So here is a bit on Potty Training... When all else fails turn to technology to help out. If you have been following for a while you will know that we have been having some issues getting Boy1 to use the potty. I have tried everything and could not find anything to bribe the monkey. Toys, new toys, gummy bears, bran bites (ya I know weird, but with twins you are doing a lot of 'bribing' so I wanted something a little more healthy than candy.) Well anyway months later Boy1 is still not using the potty for the solids. Little did I know the answer to my problems was in my back pocket the entire time. (Now you are probably thinking what the heck is she talking about). Well he is my kid and I am TOTALLY technology addicted. Makes sense that one of my kids might be that way. Low and behold my IPHONE is the trick to potty training, haven't even had an accident since.

I have a free bubble app that I downloaded from the internet and a 99cent "PhonyPhone" app that I downloaded as well. When Boy1 has to go potty now he only wants Mom and he will sit and play on the IPHONE until his "job" is done!

I may have to send this one to apple as new way to use your iphone/ipod touch! HA HA!

I guess I will have to call it the Poopy Phone from now one! (And make sure to disinfect it with those nice antibacterial wipes too!:)

Hope you had a laugh over this one... good night!

#302 - HOT

Well it was a HOT one today. Probably just about as hot as it ever gets around here. So what were we doing? Putting sealer on our paved driveway, hmm black stuff on a hot day! Now it wouldn't be such a big deal but we live on an acreage remember and we have a looooong driveway! We were out there with brooms and the sealer just a working away. I am sure the neighbours though we were nuts! (They aren't far from the truth!) Oh ya and hubby and I were both in jeans neither one of us wear shorts! Ha Ha a sight for all to see that's for sure!

Hubby bought the sealer at the beginning of the year when it was on sale and we haven't made time to do it. But since it can't freeze through the winter we had to get it done while it was nice and before the rain comes too. That's a tough one around here, one never knows!

Hubby says next time he has the idea to seal the drive way himself to hit him with the broom and go hire someone... duh! I could have told you that, have you looked at the size of our driveway! Oh ya and we got six buckets and we will probably need about 5 or 6 more after we are done. So part of our driveway will have to wait until next year when the stuff goes on sale again. I am way to cheap to buy any more right now given the reduced wage situation!

Oh ya and I bought two things off the internet and guess what, someone stole my card number. I got a call from the credit card security department on Sunday night. So I called them and arranged to have my card canceled. Then later that night I wanted to check as I had a weird feeling and I couldn't find the transactions in question on my statement. FREAK OUT here! So I called the regular number that I usually use for the card company and checked to make sure I was actually talking to their security department and that my card had been canceled. It was Freak out for nothing! So now I am annoyed about my card. I think I am going to get a separate card just for internet shopping with a really low limit as my other card scares me due to the limit on it!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- working in the heat
- credit card thieves
- laundry (I keep forgetting to take mine out of the washing machine... ick)
- too much work, not enough time

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- good kids
- getting 2 of 3 courses ready and working on the last one

KIDDO NOTES
My boys don't need me anymore :(. They went and played on their swing set (in the shade thank goodness) while hubby and I painted/sealed the driveway. I could see them from where we were, but they were playing without one of us right with them. I am so sad they are growing up WAY to fast. I am also happy that they love to amuse themselves with sticks and dirt and whatever else is in their 'play area' outside. They did come check to see if we were done once but that was it. Usually they have to play right beside where we are working, but not today. Baby was sleeping and my boys were busy busy!

(Oh ya and I saw a school bus, first day back around here, and I wanted to cry. Next year my boys will be off to kindergarten. What happened to those two babies we brought home? I am not ready to send them off into the great big world just yet! I have a year I better enjoy it!

Better be off to bed now... very very tired and lots of work to do on my last course!
Good night!

#277 - Woot Woot and other stuff!

Well I am keeping out of trouble these days. It has been a nice break since the In-laws have been here. I have cut back on my work a little the last couple of days and it has been NICE!

I was ready to string up the hubby today. I had a meeting at 1pm and the hubby went out with the folks and called at 1pm that he was going to get his dad something to eat and they still had to go to the grocery store... I was really happy, me, 3 kids and a demo via the internet and phone! Well I made it until the hubby got home. Then I felt bad for being pissed off as the inlaws bought us a new BBQ. (our last one is 15 yrs old, and too small according to hubby! :))

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
-sweet girl
-a visit from a friend that we haven't seen in a while

KIDDO NOTES
Today we had a major breakthrough... oh constipation/screaming/anti potty boy... headed to the bathroom by himself today. And we had MAJOR splash down. I think this may be the start of the end of potty training for the boys in this house! How possibly exciting! :) When I get these two going we are moving on to the littlest one.

Speaking of the littlest one. Granny was out for the day with some friends. So Baby and I dropped off Granny and headed out for a shopping day with baby. What a treat! I really enjoyed just having one to drag in and out of the car. We went into the Children's Place (clothing store). Baby saw dresses and way she went. "LOOK MOM... PRETTTY DRESS!" She was just in heaven, pretty dresses everywhere! It was too funny, then she found shoes, LOOK MOM pretty shoes! She was even looking through the racks and showing mom the stuff she liked. Then it was on to check out the slippers. She found some with butterflies and she really liked them and since they were only $2.99 I got them for her. (I also managed to get some Saled items for Christmas presents! YEY) As I was at the checkout she wanted her shoes off, then her sweater (it was raining, finally). Then she wanted to put a pretty dress on. I think she was about ready to strip down to her diaper! (She was not happy when we left the store! :) )

We had a nice lunch together, she kept looking at me an smiling. I was so proud of my little girl, she was soooo good. We had a pit stop at the dollar store and I let her walk. She kept saying 'ooo look mom' to everything she saw. Our last stop was some groceries, which was cutting into nap time. She did really well considering! Someone in line said how cute she was (*insert me gushing!*). She was nattering away in the truck on the way home then all of a sudden it stopped, she was fast asleep. What a treat it was for MOM! (I think I will keep her... for now! Ask me again when she is a teenager! :) )

I love moments like that, but it really makes me realize just how much you miss out on with two at a time. I am sad that my little ones are growing up so very fast. I am afraid to blink! :)

Good Night and here's to Poop in the potty instead of the pants!

#271 - I need some toothpicks

I am so freaking tired... and the in-laws will be here on Thursday... and I still need to clean my house... and hubby is still not helping. Well he did wash the truck today??? OK dear what about the house?

I am totally stressed now as I am trying to get prepared for inventory at work. I just got a call to make some changes to the system I built and setup a spreadsheet for other data collection. Then there is the whole getting ready for the in-laws to come over. I asked my mother to help out with the kids today so that I could get some stuff done, but she had to wash wine bottles. (She used to go and CLEAN our neighbors house when their family (not related to us) was coming to visit. But she won't even watch the kids for me for a couple of hours so I can get some cleaning done. She will go and help EVERYONE & ANYONE else and the TELL ME ALLLLL about it after. But when I need help she is too busy.

So wish me luck trying to get this place cleaned up. I am so embarrassed to have visitors here anyway this place is not even a 1/4 the house we used to have and it needs so much work it feels kind of dumpy to me. No it feels like a total dump to me :(. I can still see all the dirt that we cleaned up before we even moved in. I keep trying to see what all we have accomplished, but it's like a pig. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. :( (It's a good thing I like the yard and the location or I would be totally miserable... I keep thinking some day it will be better but it will never be our other house. It's like finding your dream house and wishing you could move it with you, but then you have to leave it behind and move into a nasty house)

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- stress
THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- sleeping in

KIDDO NOTES
Boy1 said when we are out of pull-ups then he has to wear big boy under ware... and way he went. He was peeing in the potty the very next day (this was on Sunday). He still is having pooping issues though... ugg. I am doing a lot of laundry these days. Boy2 is doing awesome but there are way to many trips to the potty, he tries to go every time his brother does. (I found the ultimate

Baby is embracing the terrible twos, can you say whine and cry? Good thing she is cute or we would definitely have to eat her! LOL

#255 - 2 more to go!

I am done yet another course and I only have 2 more to go! It has been around a year since I started teaching and I am really starting to enjoy it! :)

I am exhausted so off to bed I go!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- rush hour traffic, people in the city have no idea how to drive. They want to ban cell phone use, instead they should just ban Stupid Drivers that would solve a majority of the issues! :)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- coming home to hubby with kids after a tiring day at work instead of my mother! (ya she actually showed up 2 days in a row! Wow! :)

KIDDO NOTES
I need to sit down to type this one. Hubby was starting to get the kids ready for their bath so he dumped Boy1 on the potty and told him to wait there. He left him all alone! I heard what sounded like a plop (all the way on the other side of the house!) then shortly after I hear Boy1 holler "I pooped in the potty". I went in and he stood up to show me! (Yummy! NOT) I am excited to report that the little turd FINALLY left one where it actually should be left (instead of his pants that is!). Crossing my fingers here that maybe he will continue to do this as we sure made a bid deal out of it! (That and my cousin gave me a big bag of old hot wheels so we are using them as a reward for doing 'the business' in the potty!) Boy2 also got a new car after his bath! YAHOO! Excitement all around!

I must admit I would have never thought poop in a potty could ever make someone so happy! :) Ahh the things you learn as a parent!

Good night... ever been so tired that you are to tired to go to bed? LOL

#237 - Mish mash post!

1) I am very sad a long time friend moved out of province this weekend and I never heard from him. I have known him since I was 13. (His girlfriends father did some electrical work a while back that was a disaster) I did hear he was moving and attempted to contact him but all I got was the nasty girl friend, I never did really like her but I put up with her for the sake of my friend. She intercepted the email I sent, and I would guess he never got it. (Good thing I never said anything nasty about her, as far as I knew she didn't go on his email account, guess things have changed)

2)When are weekends going to be for weekend stuff? Instead of working/trying to get caught up with work stuff. I really don't seem to have enough hours to keep up with all the stuff I am doing

3)How does it go from below freezing to 20 degrees above freezing (instant summer weather)

4)The friend who was pissed about the free work that I did for her keeps emailing me to 'clarify' the points that were making me angry. What did I do... I am so bad. I bounced the email back with a message that my inbox is full. I almost didn't respond to her first email I sure as heck am not responding to anymore. As far as I am concerned if you got something to say to me then SAY it don't freaking email me! So what does she keep doing - sending it to me. She knows I have 2 accounts so she has been sending it to both. Then she created a new email address with her dogs name and started sending emails to me from there too.

Apparently she thought I may be blocking her email so she would try again! TODAYS count is 20 emails sent and 20 bounced. Frig I hope she gives up soon I am sick of sending her email inbox full messages! (she's not tech savy so I didn't have to do too much work to make it all work out! LOL) I suppose Karma will get me for this one, but a girl's gotta have some enjoyment in life!

5) It's too freaking hot in this house to sleep! Rotten warm weather!

6) I really need sleep. Yesterday I had the busiest day ever at the store. I worked my arce off and was totally exhausted. Then I worked on my course for a bit too. I just want to get it out of my hair! So Boy#1 wakes a midnight... hubby ignores it. I get up. Boy#1 just doesn't want to sleep. I ended up sitting beside him on the floor until 6:30am. Thanks HUBBY. He didn't even freaking care when I got up this morning. Not to mention that I almost froze to death! I did take a blanket with me but it wasn't enough and I was afraid to move for fear of waking Boy#2 up (I hate having lousy sleepers!) Hubby knew I was feeling like crap last night and he knew I was exhausted. It wouldn't have hurt him to help me out for a little while!

7) Did I mention how pissed I am at hubby? (Even though he picked the weeds out of the front flower bed)

8) I need to start planning Baby's 2nd birthday as it's in June! I am usually done the planning by now. I am so behind!

9) I need to finish testing the application I was working on for my contract and get it to the fella that requested it.

10) I should have been in bed 2 hours ago but I was on a roll with my course stuff!

So with that .... good night

KIDDO NOTES
They spent most of their weekend outside so they were tickled. This year the boys can actually ride their trikes (and they have both had their first crashes!). They will even pedal their little John Deere tractors that we got them for their birthday last year. Baby was hanging out on the Big Wheel today and she really likes that!

Oh yes and Baby. Baby only drinks milk. She does not like juice, water or anything else. So we have to get creative. Today she was yelling for milk so I went and got her a cup like her brothers and a straw. Well the little monster liked the straw, 3 full glasses later! I gave her the cup with the straw at the table at lunch. She tossed the straw and wanted to use the cup like her brothers. So I guess as of today she is a cup drinker! (She has a bit of a mind of her own, to say the least! She would not touch a cup before this no matter what we tried. I guess SHE was ready!) LOL

#229 - Working hard or hardly working!

That would be working hard!

It was a busy work day, with some boss craziness (an hour before we closed she wanted someone to run to the post office... wtf?). There there was the whole hour and half before we closed create a new window display! Sheesh talk about the busiest part of the day to add some craziness! Oh well it didn't all get done today, but there is always tomorrow!

After the kiddos went to bed it was back to work for me. Looks like I may be almost done with the application I was building! I was busy testing and fixing some minor bugs tonight. Just have a couple questions to be answered and I will be all done! Yay!

Now I have to get back to my course stuff, one more course to revamp! Ugg! :) I just want to scrapbook at night instead of work!

So me and my sore feet are off to bed!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- the frame of my glasses broke tonight. I can just barely see my computer and I can't see our television! Hubby needs new glasses and he was supposed to go get them, but we can't afford for both of us to go so I guess he will have to wait longer. Call me cheap but I am p-oed I have to get new glasses!
- never being able to find stuff at work, we are all constantly moving things around to make room for new stuff! It's just crazy!
- Hubby never did anything in the storage room today.. WTF get to work! LOL

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as far as my extra work is concerned

KIDDO NOTES
By George I think he's got it! Boy2 was doing 'all' his business in the potty today! We may just transition from pull-ups to 'big boy' pants tomorrow! I asked him if he wanted them tomorrow and he said YES! He usually says no so I am very excited! We will see how it goes tomorrow though! I am very hopeful!

Boy2 has actually regressed with the Potty training... again! I think it's going to be a longer process with him, but I suppose it will eventually happen. He SCREAMS like someone has cut off his arm when we ask him if he wants to go potty. I think he is going to be a challenge, but I suppose that's what makes it more rewarding when you are done!

Baby has decided that now is a good time to move into the terrible twos I think. He has been one nasty little beast. I used to call her crab-atha when she was teeny tiny, I think this name may be in the back of my head for the next little while. She sure lets you know when she doesn't like something, but then you have to try to figure out what it is! Then she walks around saying 'Pretty Baby". Ok miss muffet you better get rid of that little princess attitude soon or you aren't going to like it much around here! LOL

Off to get some much needed zzzzzzz's

Good Night

#224 - OH NO!

Well today was a good day at work. Nice customers and fun staff. Who can complain! As per usually some scrapbooking stuff followed me home too! Not to much though, I am starting to save money 'just in case' hubby's job doesn't make it through the current slow down.

Saturday was my monthly scrap with the girls. I managed to get 10 pages completed and 4 started. It was a slow day for me but that's OK at least I go some stuff done!

You could sure tell the weather is nicer that it has been, there was people walking everywhere today. I suppose everyone is anxious to get outside now that winter is on it's way out!

I finished getting ready for my next class tonight so now I can just focus on my other project. I hope this next class goes well, sometimes they just go better than others. I am so glad they are only 2 days!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- sore feet (I really need to wear my orthotics more. I only wear them when I am at work, and my feet like to complain! :)

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- nice weather, quick melt of the snow, no stinky run-off (yuck)
- acreage living

KIDDO NOTES
The kids have been pretty good all weekend. Boy1 was downstairs for a little while with me on Saturday. I was cutting him some hearts (I tried to convince him that the animals would be cool, but he wanted hearts! :) ) on my cricut. Well after we did his we had to do some for his bro and sis. Well if I didn't turn around and he was putting the paper on the mat, loading it into the machine and trying to move the blade to the correct position for the paper size! I gave him a little help with the positioning and he selected the icon he wanted to cut and he pressed the cut button. When the cut was done he pressed the button to unload the paper and he removed the hearts from the mat. (I think I must use that thing to often if he knows what to do!) Not bad for a 3 year old I suppose! :)

Now for the OH NO part of the post! Today the kids were outside most of the day. Hubby said that Boy1 was driving Baby around in his gator and showing her the yard. (I can just imagine... he is happiest when HE is the boss! :) ) Well anyway I arrived home for supper, the kids were already eating, the first thing they said is "Mom I climbed tree". OMG they were climbing trees and Hubby let them... aaaaaaahhhhh ! :) I think hubby could see the look of horror on my face and he said they were climbing on the trees that were split near the bottom... phew!

You see I have this thing about climbing and play centers. As I child I couldn't climb on them for some reason, not sure why exactly? When I became an adult I could not bear to watch any child climbing trees or on monkey bars. I have to look away, and these aren't even my kids. Needless to say I have been dreading the day that I have to watch my own kids climb away (and pretend that it doesn't bug me!). So now I better get ready, there is no break in period with twins, no one at a time, OMG both of them are going to be climbing on everything now. I think I may need to be medicated! LOL I suppose I will just be happy after they are done and no one has broken anything! :)

#217 - Friday!

Happy Good Friday to you!

Well I made it through my course... just barely! :) It was just plain painful! I had my largest class ever, 18 people. They were all at varying levels (the painful part). A few students were downright ignorant too! Lovely. I had a really tough time getting through the material. It was just plain gross. I was not expecting to get great reviews, but they were actually pretty good considering how crappy I thought it was going. Two people commented that I was "dull". That one just cracks me up! (I guess I was just too focused on getting through the material this time I guess!) One lady said I was the best instructor she has ever had at the college that I teach at. (That one cracked me up to as this class was just brutal! LOL)

Oh yes and another Lady has asked me to do some contract work for her. Silly me I said yes! It should only be a couple hour job though! I know I am an idiot! :)

I am just listening the the thunder roll. It's raining and thumping here. That should help take the rest of our snow away! :) We never get thunder at this time of year, it sounds kind of strange!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- feeling so tired every time I teach a 2 day course

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- having hubby home for the day

KIDDO NOTES
We had a busy day today! We made chocolates this morning, Baby was even trying to help. I let her lick a wee bit off the spoon that kept her happy for about a half hour! After lunch we decorated Easter Eggs. Baby was totally into that! I couldn't believe it not even a mess, phew! They had a great time with the eggs.

At times like this I think of how lucky I am. So many years hubby and I celebrated Easter, wishing and hoping to one day have a family. I just loved watching the kids create our Easter gifts today it brings me such peace to watch them. At least if I had to suffer for 11 or so years, now I am getting to just enjoy.

Today was our first day without afternoon naps, for the boys. Last night was a yet another nightmare at bedtime so we decided to try not having a nap today. Well at least tonight it seems to have done the trick. Time will tell. Baby had a bit longer nap today and that seemed to make a difference in her disposition this evening too. Now we won't get anything done in the afternoon either! Yikes, when am I going to work?

During Baby's afternoon nap the boys and I had a date with my cricut. I cut out some boxes to put our chocolates in and some cards. The kids love to pull the paper off the mat! They even did some colouring on the boxes.

We did have our usual toy fights today... but other than that it was a great day.

Off to work tomorrow then we have Easter Brunch with the family on Sunday.

Happy Easter to those who Celebrate!

#213 - Stress is...

... the desire to choke the sh*t out of some idiot who desperately deserves it! (nope not the hubby today)

So I am starting my quest to find a part-time in home sitter for my kiddos (good luck with that one!) I am so done with the SH*T that my mother seems to have following around her. She calls me today to tell me that she may not be able to look after the kids on Thursday (hmm... sounds EXACTLY like last week!) There is always an excuse with her, she has to have drama with everything. WTF does she think my Hubby can walk out of work whenever SHE feels like it! Like last week, some close relative died and the funeral might be on thursday. If they are so effing close why the eff have I never heard of this person in my entire life? She lies so much she forgets that I used to live in that god forsaken house and I would know if this relative was ever mentioned OR not!

Well they were supposed to come see the kids this weekend, but they decided to go to a "good" friends funeral. Which is fine other than the part that I have never heard of this person, ever. So don't effin lie to me about how well you know this person. Then they went and got groceries to help someone out who NEEDS help. (Oh ya what about when my hubby went to see his father after his father's heart attack. Home alone for 2 weeks with 4 month old twins, they lived 5 mins away, where the eff were you then). What about your effin family you miserable mean b*tch. (No I am not Angry at all! LOL) Then she asked what WE got done this weekend. Well let me see I worked on Saturday, so that means hubby got nothing done, and well I was home sunday but we didn't get much done then either (I didn't mention Hubbys mood to her!). I said we just need some help a few days to get a few things around here done. (Like the program that I am trying to write, 2 hrs at a time. If I had two bloody days I could finish the effing thing!) Sure glad she is retired and LOVES to help OUT! Well everyone but me that is. Not like she is any help when she comes over anyway! It's like she has done to me all my life... THROW things in my FACE. Then if I was to say anything she would just yell at me anyway! Then she told me we shouldn't be doing any reno's anyway as we are supposed to spend time with the kids. WTF do you think we are doing, we only work when they are sleeping so that's why we don't get anything effing done!

I am so done with her sh*t. I have decided that I am going to find other child care then I never have to ask for anything and I will also reduce the stress in my life! Strange that someone who spent 11 years saying "I am NEVER going to have any grandchildren" can't even be bothered to take some time out of her weekend to see her own grandkids!

OK that feels better! Now if only gravity would stop holding that woman on the planet! She thinks she hates me now, just wait until I don't actually need her help. Then I won't have to be nice even after she doles out all her sh*t. Now I am being nice as I need the work.

p.s. at least hubby was out of his mood today! phew!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- ya I think you figured that one out today... if not see above! LOL

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- knowing that I am not going to take this crap anymore. I am going to do something about it

KIDDO NOTES
It was pretty quite around here today. Boy1 was sick all day. He is such a good kid when he is sick, he even makes sure to have a bucket to get sick in. My little sweetie pie. He must have been feeling much better at supper as he was really eating a lot (yikes) and he was barking orders to his siblings.

I was sad today, then Baby spent most of her day at the back door crying Daddy. Then she fell off the couch and banged her head (more of a scare than anything, not even a bump, phew). So I pick her up to cuddle her, what does she do? Yell Daaaadddy. OK so now mom really feels like crap!

We had a breakthrough today. I caught Boy2 making the POOPY face! So I did the Grab and Run to the 'big boy potty'. Well of course the poopy face was gone. So we sat, and sat, and sat, the phone rang and I had to take it, so dad sat and sat. Well then, from the other room I heard a splash. We had lift off. I figured if we could get him to sit there long enough it would eventually have to come out! Theory worked tonight! He is the one who usually does all the liquids in the potty, so maybe solids now too? Wooohooo Do the Potty Dance! (We put this on and Hubby and I joined in. Baby looked at us like we had totally lost it. I think the boys were trying to ignore us! LOL

I must be off to bed. Trying to have somewhat better hours since I am teaching this week.... Good night

#176 - One more Day

Well I just have one more day for this class and I will be done another one. I am not quite sure how I am going to pack it all in. I have some users that are not quite as 'advanced'.

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- grumpy people
- nasty snowy roads! About 2 or 3 inches fell last night!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- getting through my courses!

KIDDO NOTES

Boy1 'sang' his ABC's tonight! He has been sitting quietly well Boy2 attempted to sing. I knew he was up to something so way he went tonight! He does great up until S, then sometimes he misses TUV, but then he finishes it off! WOW my boy is so smart! Boy2 had been doing really well since the start but he has kind of slowed down on the 'singing' thing!

I love it when they sing the 'next time won't you sing with me....' Things that make and IF mom's heart melt!

Baby was right in there too! I wonder what is going through her little brain?

Good Night!

#167 - Stuff... and where did my Phone go?

Today was a pretty quite day. Hubby had the day off for Family Day. He was in one of his 'moods' today. It is so hard to get work done when he is like that. I feel like I have to keep the kids from being bad and try to work. I am sick to death of feeling guilty when I try to get work done. I have to teach a class this week and I need to be ready. Sometimes I wonder about that man. I am just feeling like I need a rest. Between trying to give him time to himself, and trying to keep the kiddos entertained and trying to prepare for a course and doing some contract work. When the heck does he expect me to do my work between 8pm and 1am every night? I think we are heading for another 'discussion'. Which of course goes no where. He just gets mad and leaves the room and won't talk to me. I generally enjoy his company when he is not in his moods. But I just never know how long and when.

I did manage to get through most of Level II today. Now I just have to review some things for the class that I am teaching this week. Level I. I have never taught this class before so it should be interesting. I am usually so over prepared that I don't really worry much about getting through it. The tone of the class usually just depends on the people in it. I have 19 folks registered though, that is big. I am not looking forward to that part. Oh well it's not until Thursday.

THINGS THAT BUG ME

- a pissy man (that would be the husband)
- feeling guilty for working during the day

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

- A good friend came over for supper
- Bed time!

KIDDO NOTES
Well the monkeys were in pretty good cheer today.

Baby has been a little grumpy since yesterday as we cut her off the bottle cold turkey. (We cut the boys off at 1 year but it was a pain in the but, so I decided to wait a little longer with Baby and I am glad I did). With the boys we went through several sippy cups before we found one that they would use. With the girl, we just gave her one and that was that. I think she was less impressed by the milk. I ran out of frozen breast milk. (if I ever see a breast pump again I think I will run for the hills! LOL). I meant to kind of wean her off of it, by mixing with more milk, but I forgot! Duh! Well anyway she was a little annoyed at first but she seems to be OK with it today. Yet another step towards old age! :)

We are still struggling with bed time with the boys, but the struggles seem to be getting shorter most of the time. Thank goodness. I am glad that it is getting easier and hope the trend continues!

Oh and the POTTY BLOG. I think we may have had a breakthrough with Boy2 this weekend. He actually asked to go twice today and he actually went. So maybe he is on his way with Liquids now too. Boy1 is doing fairly well with Liquids too. I am trying to get them to use the big potty as much as possible so that I don't have to 'clean out' the little ones. YUCK! So I guess our next hurdle is the solids! We are on our way now, some day we may actually not have to buy diapers/pull-ups around here. What a concept! Something to look forward to!
SUNDAY
I was busy trying to get ready for my course and keep the peace around the house. Hubby and a friend were gone most of the day to go cut firewood. Lucky for me the folks never did show up!

KIDDO NOTES
Baby decided that today was a good day to steal moms phone... Where did I find it? In the 'downspout' of her House toy. I had to call it to find it as I had no idea where to look! I had the ringer turned off so I sent the boys on a mission to find my vibrating Iphone! My hubby was out cutting fire wood and I missed his call. I am surprised one of the kids didn't answer it! LOL (I have a passcode on my phone for a reason... Baby thinks it's a toy! Sheesh)

Rotten Kiddo day! It was a challenge keeping my calm today let me tell you! I know that they have been bad before but when all three of them were screaming at the top of their lungs for different things I really wanted to A) Join IN B) Bang my Head on a hard surface or C) Run very far away. Instead I just spent a lot of time breathing deeply.

Now I need to go to bed!
Good Night!

#166-Public Service Announcement

Photobucket

The "Teal Ribbon"is the nationally recognized ribbon color for awareness and support of Ovarian Cancer. The month of September has been chosen as the National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

In celebration of being Cancer Free for 8 years (Feb 13th) I would like to share the following with you.

Don't ignore your body!

I got lucky, but it isn't always that way. If something doesn't feel right get it checked out. I was one of those stubborn people that wouldn't go to the doctor unless I was in excruciating pain. (Although for those of you have been or are going through infertility treatments I am sure this isn't an issue... but I just had to say it anyway!)

Here's the LONG Version
In the summer of 2000 I started getting pains in my abdomen. They were pretty painful but I thought they would go away. In October they got worse. I had to leave a painting class as I was in horrible pain. Still I did nothing. In November it got so bad my hubby had to take me to emergency. The emerg doc wouldn't tell me anything, except you need to see your family doctor tomorrow! (That was comforting)

Well my family doctor was on Maternity Leave so I had to go to a 'fill in'. She sent me for an ultrasound. Which turned into an utter disaster, I only go to the big clinics now. I left with the tech telling me I had to come back, because I either had a full bowel or a large growth. WTF? They wanted me to clean out my bowel first and come back. Of course I went back to the doctor, freaking out, they called the U/S tech and they said there was nothing wrong. Made me feel like a total idiot.

Well I went back to the same place (what an idiot I am I would never do that again... it's amazing what you learn after going through IVF!). By this time it was December. I went back and heard nothing, given that the office hadn't been that good at calling back I kept calling them. It was over two weeks and they still hadn't received any results. Finally they got my results but I had to wait until a dr. was available. I had to keep calling as no one called me. Finally a doctor called me back, at work, to tell me I had a growth that needed to be removed.

They managed to get me in with an OB/GYN in December. They never did send the Paper Work to the OB/GYN (big surprise). Then I found out that I had 2 growths not one.

This is the part where where I got lucky, the 7cm growth grew to the size of a grapefruit between Dec and Feb when it was removed.

Eight years ago I got very lucky. I am an ovarian cancer survivor and hope to keep it this way.

So I leave you with were I started, listen to your body and get it checked out if something doesn't feel right.

#159 - Another weekend DONE!

I just can't believe how fast the weekends have been flying by. I spent some time outside in the morning, then the afternoon was spent working on more course prep. We had a friend come over for a visit in the afternoon and he stayed for supper. It was a good day!

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- how fast time is flying by before my eyes!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- A day at home with my family

KIDDO NOTES
I got up this morning (kind of late, hubby let me sleep in a bit). Well I looked out the kids window I saw hubby. I never noticed the deafening quiet in the house! LOL. I wondered where the kids were. Then I realized they were outside. All of them, and my sweet baby she was walking around in the snow. I was almost in tears to see how much she has grown up. (happy/sad tears!) She looked like a big pink poof. Her snow suit is a little big for her so her boots were holding the pants up off the ground and she was all puffy. I am not really sure how she was moving! She was walking in the funniest way, little steps, kind of like a penguin. She fell over once and instead of putting her hands up near her head they were down low. In slow motion she would kind of teeter onto her face, getting snow on her face and hat. It was so cute. I grabbed the video camera, threw my boots on (no socks on yet), and coat and headed outside. It's hard to believe she is getting so big. She is just at such a great stage right now that I wish she could stay this way for a while longer than they usually do!

Watching Baby grow makes me a little sad, with the boys it seems that we missed so much as we were just trying to keep up when they were little. It just seems that it's easier to absorb everything that just one little person is doing. I feel as though the boys kind of got jipped of their baby time, having to share Mom and Dad. (Although it was nice to always have a baby to hold!)

The boys were funny outside, they both had the hoods on their jackets on and one of the boys had sunglasses on. They just wandered about, played with the snow, and their shovels. They are very good at amusing themselves, when they want to.

Well you know I have to talk about the Potty! LOL. We now have 2 boys working on the potty training. They were both dry when they got up this morning and directly headed to the potty and did their business. I just cross my fingers that it continues on the good side. I do not like having two potties to empty though, yuck!

The kids and the hubby were all very good today, I guess they all need that fresh air!

I am thinking that I should really post some photos of the kiddos on my blog. I think I may password protect them though. I still am mulling it over as I want to stay somewhat private.

Good night

#155 - It's official I am old!

OK it's not my birthday.  I just got what I used to think was a pregnant lady/old people ailment.  I have a nasty Hemorrhoid!  Well I am definitely not pregnant (sadly) so I guess that means I am old.  Hmmph!  It is killing me but I refuse to do anything about it because that would mean it's really there!  Sheesh!

What a way to start my daily post!  Makes you wish ya missed today doesn't it?  :)

Today I finished all the prep for my first course!  I also printed out the materials to start on my second course tomorrow!  (I would have started on #2 today but I decided to have a shower instead!  My hubby thought it was a good idea! LOL)  One down and 1 and 1/2 to go!  I also got a call regarding my second contract, I will be meeting with him next week to go over some details (so that means I have to do some work on that one too... when it rains it pours!)  The thing is I really need the money.  February is kind of a brutal month, between car insurance and having to pay for the car I ran into it is going to be an expensive month so I need some cash coming in to cover things like the mortgage payment! (minor detail! :) )  I am happy to say we don't have credit card debt and I hope to keep it that way!  I am a bit on the cheap side when it comes to interest payments.  I have 3 courses pretty much 3 weeks in a row so that will help the old bank account.  I will be beat no doubt, but at least I will have some money coming in.

I also got one more layout done this morning.  I think I am caught up with all the photos that I had.  I need to get more printed for the retreat I am going on at the end of February (between teach classes... yikes).  I have no idea what I will need to take with me? Or how much I will get done.  I am not sure if trying to get up to date in album is doable or not!  I guess time will tell!  I need to start collecting stuff soon so that I will be ready to go.

THINGS THAT BUG ME
- afflictions that are associated with old people (LOL)
- grumpy hubby

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY
- getting one course prep done, and knowing that I can reuse some of my old stuff for the next one!
- my new sleep schedule.  I almost got to bed on time last night and I should be pretty close tonight

KIDDO NOTES

Yup potty training is still going in the direction of South!  The first kid (or in my case twins) are the ones you make all the stupid mistakes with, I guess I will know what to do with the next one.  I sure wish they came with instruction manuals!  It's probably a lot of my fault, I try to keep on top of the potty thing, but I get as sidetracked as they do it seems.

My kiddos are still loving the stick vaccum.  Oh no I am passing my floor cleaning obsession on to them (my hubby just looks at me and shakes his head).  We need this nasty ice to melt so we can get the boys out to run.  They are full of energy today and I think they need to let off some steam (either that or my hubby may blow the gasket)

Baby was really mad as she wanted to go downstairs today.  I have to watch how I say that to the boys now, because if she hears 'stairs' she wants to GO now. I think she may be the climber.  She is happy downstairs as long as she can sit on the first step.  I put the baby gate on the second step, just for her!  God help you if you say 'stairs' while you are downstairs as she thinks it's time to go up NOW!  My little creature! :)

The boys spent the morning colouring (I am not a fan of markers, unfortunately they are).  I finally got them to use the crayons instead for a while.  I was trying to teach them how to write their names.  Boy1 was trying so hard.  He was so mad that he couldn't do it the same as Mom.  I told him he just had to practice.  Boy2 didn't give a hoot.  He kind of tried then went back to scribbling!  Baby didn't try to eat the crayons today so it was all good.  She did have fun with the hockey stick that is in the  basement.  Maybe a female hockey player in the family? (personally I would prefer one of the boys, then he could take care of Mom and Dad in their old age... oh wait we are already old, it's too late! :) )  I am just waiting until Baby learns how to 'take out a bro' with the hockey stick!

Afternoon naps aren't going so well, but mom is persistant to say the least.  Today Boy1 was mad so he cried and cried, woke everyonelse up of course (rotten light sleepers in this house).  I snagged him out of the room and put him in our bed.  (I was trying to work while dad was sitting on the couch doing nothing and for some reason he was going to let him scream?  So I had to do something about it, arg! <-insert whiney complainy voice here! )  Dad finally got up and went to the room so I left Boy1 with Dad and went back to work.  Boy1 and Baby ended up getting up first.  Boy1 went and got two piles of toys, one for him and one for Baby then after telling her what to do and where to sit they played for quite some time.  Boy2 was in bed 'waking up' (i.e. getting the crankies out, at least mom hopes so anyway)

The boys were wild tonight running around the house.  Dad was cranky so it was pissing him off???  They weren't being bad just getting some 'energy' out.  Needless to say I quit my working 'stuff' and went to wrangle the monsters.  Pretty much I was just trying to make sure Dad wasn't being an ass!

OK I need to write this one on the Calendar.  The boys went to sleep tonight with no Yelling or Screaming!  (At least when the lights were shut off anyway).  THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED since we took them out of their cribs.  Lets hope we are entering a new phase! Please please please!

Good night!

#60 - Ok so I had to laugh!

I was talking to an old neighbour tonight, I had to thank her for a beautiful quilt she made for my daughter. She was telling me about her neighbour, she said her neighbour really has her hands full. Apparently the neighbour has 3 kids (one is in school every day) the other two are 19 months apart... Good thing I am not that busy since my twins and daughter are 23 months apart. *insert some sarcasm here* LOL. She was going on and on about this poor woman (who I might add is about 8 to 10 years younger than I), and how busy she is. I think she must have forgotten about Baby (you know the one she made the quilt for?) LOL! Good thing her neighbour doesn't work 2 jobs too! *evil grin* Not that I am saying I am the most busy Mom, I just giggle when people tell me about how others are so busy. A) I don't know the neighbour, so I am really not to worried about her busy-ness level and B)I am not to concerned about the neighbour's busy-ness level! LOL. I guess she thought it was important for me to know? (Man I can't believe I posted so much about a silly phone conversation, I really have to get some new material!)

----

The shed has a roof. Now we just have to patch the holes from the previous design and finish the ends. I think the doors may have to wait until we return. Poor hubby couldn't finish due to not having enough screws and he ran out of cutting discs. I am glad he got as far as he did though, especially if it snows before we return from our upcoming time away. (I hesitate calling it a vacation since we are staying at the in-laws for 3 weeks and usually it is way more work for me when we are away, cause Hubby is on vacation. I must put in a disclaimer, Hubby does a lot at home with the kids, when we are at his parents he does nothing. He goes into some Women's work is the kids/kitchen fog when we visit. Did I mention that his Mom has always waited on his Dad, nuff said.)

I got my work out today! A friend came to help with the shed, so when we were waiting for the hubby to do some stuff on the roof when went and moved the metal we don't need down to the opposite corner of our property. The roof pieces were pretty heavy, but I really wanted to help the hubby out so I used my sad little muscles to help move them. I was smart though, we started with the heavy stuff and worked our way to the light stuff (although by the time we got to the end the light stuff felt like the heavy stuff! LOL) We managed to get about half of it done, then the hubbs and friend moved the rest of it when I went to get the kids up from their naps.

I really really wanted to sleep in today, I didn't get to but at least hubby sent me to have breakfast in peace and quiet while he got the kids up. It wasn't quite peace as the boys wanted to talk to me but it wasn't too bad.

----
I booked some courses for the winter. I am teaching at a local technical school so I have to finish one of my teaching certificates before June next year. There are 3 courses, So I am signed up in November for one and December for another. A total of 5 weekends shot to heck... baaaa Then it will be Christmas... aaaaaa This year has just been crazy busy! I don't see any end in sight now! :)

THINGS THAT TICK ME OFF
- When I stub my toe on something that has been in the same place forever
- Laundry
- Very very loud motorbikes that zoom by way over the speed limit (Although I should talk my vehicle needs a new muffler, actually I think the whole exhaust is toast and it is loud. But now I have my car back so I can finally drive the quiet one!)
- People who never show up when they say they will

THINGS THAT I LOVE
- Watching Baby sleep
- Watching the Boys sleep
- Cheese cake
- Sleeping in
- Having at least one good friend
- A crisp fall day

KIDDO NOTES
I keep saying Boy2 is bossy, now I have proof! He was sitting in the lazy boy recliner with his feet up (well that's cause his legs aren't long enough to hang over the chair), and asking his brother to get his toys for him. Boy1 says "Boy2 get Kangaroo" Boy2 get toy. Then he says "Boy2 get blue mustang", Boy2 gets the toy. Then mom figures out what's going and tells Boy1 to get his own toys. Boy2 of course listens to mom *insert choking sound here* and says "Boy2 fuzzy blanket". Boy2 runs to their room to get the fuzzy blanket. Now mom is mad and tells Boy2 not to keep getting stuff for Boy1, he can get it himself. Boy1 finally has all that he wants and stops bugging Boy2. Mom tells Boy1 to Thank boy2, he listens this time.

Later on Boy1, sitting with Dad, says to Mom "Mom get Kangaroo......... pleaaase". *insert cute (aka manipulative) smile here* Now what's a Mom to do? :)

Boy2 is saying the Alphabet (he copies me 3 letters at time but I still think it's cool!)

Poor Boy2 had a rough day today. He was afraid of Dad's grinder and didn't want Mom to help lift anything, he just wanted Mom to sit beside him. Well at least he was cuddly! :)

Baby, Baby, Baby... she has started a new phase. Baby points at what she wants, if she doesn't get it she screams like a wild banshee! I was going to check my email on my phone and she wanted the phone NOW. It was getting ugly and she wouldn't take anything else, so I gave in and gave her the darn phone. (Mom bad! Actually I don't usually give in but I was feeling like crap so it was her lucky day! :))

#59 - Work and other stuff!

Some how knowing that I am not alone when it comes to my feelings relating to my infertility makes me feel a little more normal! Thanks for the comments blogger friends. Given that all my local friends are fertile/extra super fertile it's hard to relate to them when it comes to my lack of fertility. It's always good to know when you aren't alone out there.

-----

I am exhausted today, I worked last night and all day today. This was my busiest day so far at work from a sales perspective. It sure went by fast, I barely got to finish the display window that I started Friday Night. I got to use my creative side to do a fall display, and I am extremely happy with what I did, hopefully the owner likes it too!

I am sad that I will not be able to sleep in a bit tomorrow as the hubby is working on the shed and he wants to get an early start. He is hoping to get the roof on tomorrow, and I am hoping he gets it done too! He is very particular so I think it will be fairly well built. We may need to do some truss work next year but I am sure it will be good for one winter!

THINGS THAT TICK ME OFF
- Rude people
- Empty toilet paper rolls, it never fails where ever I go I always end up with the last square of TP and I have to put a new roll on. Drives me crazy, I think there is a TP conspiracy out there, TP is out to get me! :)

THINGS THAT I LOVE
- Fall days and fall colours
- A good Jam sandwich
- CHOCOLATE, lots of CHOCOLATE!
- The way BABY pulls her blanket over her mouth when she first cuddles into her crib
- Coming home to hugs after a long day at work

KIDDO NOTES
Baby said a new word today, she really picks the good ones too. So I am just home from work and heading to the washroom. (I always seem to have to 'go' when I come through the back door??) Well Boy2 says to me, before I go anywhere, "Mom Pee". Really am I that predictable? So then what does Baby say, no not Mom... "Pee". Great, maybe she can potty train the boys? She did manage to say "Hi" shortly after, so I think we will keep reinforcing that one!

Friday morning I walk into the boys room to get the kids up. I notice Boy1 is sitting on the floor. He exclaims "Boy1 Sleep Floor" then shows me a big smile. He had his blanket and teddy and he was on the floor. Apparently he had a good sleep as he told me that later. I did have a visitor on Friday too, she helped me go to the grocery store to pick up some stuff. Usually I take the triple stroller and stuff the kids in it but I decided to do something new for a change. I put baby in the shopping cart, and the boys walked! HA HA that was fun. We ended up rotating kids through the cart/holding kids/trying to keep baby from climbing out. It was quite funny actually, people were smiling as they walked by and we were rotating the kids. Thank goodness I had help or that could have been a total disaster! Ah yes and we discovered Baby thinks Baby should get what Baby wants. We passed by some stuffed animals and she started pointing and squacking. She was none to impressed when I wouldn't give her one. I guess it's time for her to learn/scream! :)

Off to bed so I can hopefully get some sleep...
