I was sent 3 flavours to try out... here are the details from the Nestea site:

RESULTS:
I really liked each of these drinks. My favorite is the Açai Blueberry Red Tea, with the Fuji Apple Green Tea one next. I am not much of a fan of oranges so the Mandarin orange was last on my list, but it happened to be my husbands favorite so we pretty much had them all covered! I was amazed by the fact that the Fuji Apple Green Tea actually tasted like a green apple!

I do like the fact that they are made with real fruit juice and that there are no artifical flavours, colours or preservatives added not to mention that they taste soooo good!

THE BOTTOM LINE: We will definitely be purchasing more at our house! I was happy to see them in the stores finally (I think we are a little slow out west! :) ) P.S. here are some great recipes too!

TESTING NOTES: Stinky kids in the house and a stinky sink in the basement(couldn't reach the water trap to put more water in it!)!
Scents:

RESULTS:
Diapers in a Bag - Air Effects works wonderfully to remove the smell. Just have to watch the about dispensed!
Kitchen - Loved the candles, either burning or just sitting on a warm stove they smelled very nice! Not to strong and they removed the kitchen smells that you don't want to linger around.
Stinky sink - The trap in our basement bathroom sink went dry, we had a load of storage room stuff in the way and couldn't get to it for a few weeks. The Air Effects and the NOTICEables kept the nasty scent at bay until we could fix it! I really like all three scents I think the Moroccan Bazaar was my fav, but it's a hard call as I liked all of them!

THE BOTTOM LINE: Yummy! I am not sure if the Candles or the Plug in air fresheners are my Favorite? Both my candles are done, so I am going to have to pick up a new one next time I am out!

My Opinion - PC Free Beef

PRODUCT:PC Free Beef (for my Canadian Friends)


TESTING NOTES: BBQ and some steak!

RESULTS: I was asked to review Presidents Choice Free Beef. This beef is available at Superstore. Hubby BBQ'ed it and it was great. It reminded me of what a great steak tasted like years ago. The Free meat is raised without the use of antibiotics and fed no animal by-products. I did notice that the prices did fluctuate and some times the steak was a little fattier than we like. There is nice cuts available if you are patient though.

I also got to try out the Salt & Pepper grinder with sea salt! I don't use a lot of salt and pepper but I liked this little guy. Grind what you want and put it on your meal. I do like some salt on any meat I eat so this was a lovely addition. My first time trying pepper on my steak and it was very good!

THE BOTTOM LINE: Well worth a try, I think we are going to have to try some of the other 'PC Free' products as the taste is great!

TESTING NOTES: Dust, lots and lots of Dust... Yuck!

RESULTS: We seem to have an abundance of dust in our house. I am beginning to think the kids CREATE it or oooze it! Well this is a great little duster, picks up the dust without leaving to much to float around in the air. This saves me from my regular method of vacuuming up the dust then wiping things down after

THE BOTTOM LINE: Works very well for picking up dust. If you have children get one for each, they love to play with the duster and the bonus is the house gets cleaned too!

#250 - My Opinion - Swiffer Dust and Shine

TESTING NOTES: Well for this one I used my very dusty house and of course I had to dust on a sunny day so that I could see if the dust was being picked up or moved around.

RESULTS: Works well! I preferred to spray it on a cloth then wipe the dust off. I found if I sprayed it directly on the furniture that the dust would blow around a bit, using a cloth it picked it all up! I usually vacuum then dust, I like this method much better! The only thing I didn't like about this product was the strong smell. It didn't smell like real lavender to me so I found it a bit chemical smelling vs a natural smell. I liked that the scent lingered for quite some time after I was done, I would just prefer a different scent. (scent: Lavender Vanilla)

THE BOTTOM LINE: Works well for picking up dust, if you don't like strong smells you may not like this one. I really want to try another scent as I am not to keen on this one. (Although it's not bad enough that I won't finish the container! :) )

#240 - My Opinion - Mr Clean Disinfecting Wipes - With Febreze

TESTING NOTES: I used this product in the bathroom and on the change table and other miscellaneous handles and door knobs in the house.

RESULTS: Well I did not test the disinfecting effectiveness, since I don't have a lab at home! :) But I do love the smell of these wipes. I used them to clean the change table in the kids room and the door handles. I am so not a fan of cleaning the bathroom fixtures so I give them a dust and wipe them down with the wipes, makes me feel like everything was nice and clean after. I enjoyed the fresh scent as well (Lavender Vanilla & Comfort™)!

THE BOTTOM LINE: When we ran out we bought some more! These have become my favorite disinfecting wipes!

My Opinion - Ultra Concentrated Dawn Plus - Dish Soap

TESTING NOTES: For use with daily dishes!

RESULTS: Smells nice, cleans the dishes, and has nice bubbles. I like bubbles! I didn't notice much of a difference between this and other products I have used. I like the water soapy and this does do the trick. I also noticed that the bottle lasted a long time.

THE BOTTOM LINE: It works and lasts. It's not something that I would say you need to run out and buy this instant, but I definitely would use it again.

TESTING NOTES: I tried this product out on bedding, shoes, carpet and even the air! (started review 12-Dec-08)

RESULTS: I love the smell of this one (Linen & Sky). It definitely gets the odors out! One day before we went out I even sprayed it in the kids bedroom when it was smelling like a nasty diaper pail! It works great to refresh bedding and shoes, even my kids slippers!

THE BOTTOM LINE: I love this scent I will be replacing my bottle when this one is empty!

#214 - My opinion - Febreze Candles - Vanilla & Refresh Scent

TESTING NOTES: I put this candle (which I liked the scent to begin with) on the kitchen stove to test it out. I was happy to report the scent wasn't too strong and when lit it could be smelled through out the house. I wanted to try it out when the house was stinky. Well hubby cooked a ham and the house smelled so I lit the candle to see what it could do!

RESULTS: Yummy! Love the smell of this candle (vanilla & refresh) and it did manage to get the 'stink' out of my house. It didn't take very long before the cooking ham smell was gone. It wasn't just covered up it was actually removed! I made sure to put the candle in a safe place away from the kids, sometimes I am nervous with young children in the house. I was also happy to report that in the morning I could still smell the sent of the candle in the house even though it had been off all night. So I thought that was the end of my test, but the next day I went to start our stove (/fire place) in the basement. Well all I did was create a whole bunch of smoke. Hubby put the candle on to get the stink out of the house, it worked great!

THE BOTTOM LINE: I really like the scent of this candle. I am a little cautious of candles in the house with small children so I may not use it as often as I would like to!

#180 - My Opinion - Oral-B Triumph with SmartGuide Electric Toothbrush

TESTING NOTES: I plugged this new toothbrush in and charged it up as per the instructions. I figured, it's just another tooth brush, with some cool extras.

RESULTS: All I can say is WOW! I had some build up since my last dental cleaning. That no matter how I brushed I just couldn't get it off. I had no expectations of this new brush and was amazed at how well it cleaned the build-off. After a couple of brushings the inside of my mouth was feeling just like it does after a dental cleaning. (I can't wait to see the results at my next cleaning!) A great feature that comes with the brush is the timer. It splits your mouth into four sections and the brush vibrates when you are done one section, the timer shows you a visual of each quadrant as well as showing you the timer. When you aren't using the toothbrush the timer displays the time, it's handy to have a little clock in the bathroom. The toothbrush also works without the timer.

THE BOTTOM LINE: I LOVE THIS Toothbrush! I can't imagine life without it. It is a little pricey but works very well! For me it is a MUST have!

#149 - My Opinion - Febreze NOTICEables

TESTING NOTES:  I plugged this in the hallway which is on the way to the 'stinky' boys room and near the kitchen.

RESULTS:  Well it has been plugged in for over a month.  I found the scents a little strong at first then they were better.  It may have been because I had them in a plug that was half way up the wall instead of near the floor.  I did like the little light that tells you what side is the current 'smell'.  Kind of nice as a night light.  I still smell it from time to time, so it is 'noticeable' as it says on the box.  I wasn't really keen on the scent that it came with, the lavender didn't smell like I thought it should, the vanilla side was much better though.

I do have two that I plug in from time to time in the kids room and I do like them and they seem to get the diaper 'stink' out!  This is a good thing!

THE BOTTOM LINE:  I wouldn't throw out all my current air fresheners just to replace them with this one but if I needed a  new one I would consider purchasing one of these, probably a different scent though.  (I would like to see the Linen & Sky that regular Febreze comes with, I would be totally addicted then! :) )

#135 - My Opinion!

PRODUCT: Swiffer Wet Jet



TESTING NOTES: Tried this product on ceramic tile and laminate. (I don't have any lino in this house).  I was interested by the picture on the box of the clean socks vs. the dirty socks on a floor that was washed with a mop.  So I had to was my floor with a mop first then wash it with my Swiffer Wet Jet.  I just had to see what was left behind!

RESULTS: OK so I am totally grossed out with what the Wet Jet picked up AFTER I mopped the floors (and let them dry).  Gross!  I also tried a dirty floor going over twice with the Wet Jet just to see what was left behind!  The mop pad was pretty close to clean the second time so it definitely does clean better than the old mop and bucket.  (My hubby wanted to hand wash the floor first then swiffer after, but we haven't tried that just yet.  I will post an update when we get around to it!)  I did find there was a bit of streaking on my laminate but compared to the mop and bucket you could barely see it.  With a mop there was large streaks left on my floor!  I only used the all purpose cleaner and that seems to do the trick on the laminate, and it smells nice too!  Oh yes and the scrubber on the wet jet worked great on some mystery substance that was stuck to my floor, I couldn't get it off with my mop.

THE BOTTOM LINE: I will be cleaning my floors with a Wet Jet from now on!  I can even do it with a toddler hanging off my hip so that's even better!

PRODUCT: Cascade ® All-in-1 ActionPacs

PICTURE:

TESTING NOTES: Tried this product with dried on baby cereal, instant cereal and NO pre-rinsing at all. Tried on dishes that sat in the dishwasher for 3 days, that were not pre-rinsed.

RESULTS: Clean dishes, NO water spots (we have really hard water here that spots everything so I was impressed) The first tab took off all food on all dishes. Only two loads I found a teeny spot of instant cereal on them, and it came off with a finger nail. To my joy my cutlery was all CLEAN. I have never had such clean cutlery from my dishwasher it was amazing! The rinse agent is a wonderful thing. Now if they just made the bag it comes in recyclable I would be even happier! Oh ya and the little packets are so cute! (It's all about looking pretty and/or cool right?)

THE BOTTOM LINE: If you have a dishwasher YOU must try this product. It is a great product that actually does what it says. I am hooked!
