#50 - Remembering

It is truly a sad day.

My thoughts are with those who lost friends and loved ones.

I had a passed co-worked who managed to get out of one of the towers before it fell. Her story is scary.

I was at work when I hear what happened.

That day change the world forever... dreaming of a day where there is peace in the world.

Given that I did not know a single person that was killed, I feel like I should be "over it" by now and yet every time this anniversary comes around I can remember like it was yesterday the panic and sadness I felt...and the panic I sometimes still feel wondering when or if it will happen again. I can only imagine what those who were actually there or lost loved ones must be going through. My thoughts ans prayers are with them.

We will never forget and I hope we leave a better place for our children and their children.
